Location

Llys yr Afon is located in the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron in Cardigan Bay, West Wales. Once a busy port with a thriving ship-building history, it is now home to vessels designed for leisure rather than work. It is still a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying one of the town's famous Honey Ice Creams - available from the Hive on the Quay. There are numerous high quality, local cafes and restaurants, and your day can end with anything from a really good fish and chips eaten al fresco, to haute cuisine. There are also several traditional public houses.

Aberaeron's architectural gem is full of interest. There's a Sea Aquarium, the famous Harbourmaster Restaurant and the National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate. It is also a very central location for touring Wales and ideal for pursuits such as angling, sailing, birdwatching, cycling and walking.
