The house is situated in a quiet, leafy area yet just beside all amenities, very close to transport-bus, rail, Air coach and ferry- and near the sea. Free parking for 1 car.
It has its own side-access to a small garden at the rear of the house, very useful for bringing in bicycles or sea-sports equipment.
The dining/sitting room and separate kitchen are on the ground floor, and the two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor.
The bathroom has a full-sized bath with shower over.
One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other a single.
Both have wardrobe and cupboard space.
The attic above is useful for storing suitcases out of the way.
Outside there is a patio and small gravelled garden, with an outhouse, a shed and garden furniture.

Monkstown certainly is a special village, having so many nice restaurants and other amenities, the sea and lots of transport stops.
We hope that we might stay again at some future time, if we are in Dublin.
Set in a quiet enclave, the house is just a three minute walk to the fashionable coastal village of Monkstown, which offers high quality restaurants, specialist food stores, boutiques, garden/design centre, churches, cafes and landmark pubs along with usual village amenities of post office, ATM, pharmacy, hair salon, newsagents, dry-cleaners, grocery and other stores.
A swimming pool and fitness centre is located about 250 meters from the village.
Monkstown is also home to the headquarters of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, an Institute that promotes traditional Irish music and culture and events regularly take place here.
A 5 minute walk from the house brings you to the seafront, with access to Seapoint beach near the Martello tower, and also to the Dublin suburban rapid Rail service (DART) at Monkstown station.
The bus stop for the hourly Aircoach to and from Dublin Airport is just a three minute walk from the house.
This stop is also on the main bus route to Dublin city centre. Buses from Monkstown stop directly outside the RDS (Royal Dublin Society) in Ballsbridge, where the renowned Dublin International Horse Show takes place each August and other events such as major concerts, Arts and Antique Fairs, Young Scientist and other exhibitions are held throughout the year. These buses also stop beside the National Gallery of Ireland, which is very close to Trinity College and Dublin city centre.
Monkstown is just one kilometre from Dunlaoghaire with it's lovely harbour, promenade, yacht clubs and two piers along with live theatre, multiplex cinema, library, shops, pubs and restaurants.
Stena Line Ferries operate a rapid ferry service between Dunlaoghaire and Holyhead.
Golfing enthusiasts can arrange to play at Killiney Golf Club, near Dunlaoghaire or alternatively at Elm Park Golf Club, closer to Dublin. Tennis is also available by arrangement.
Those interested in literature can, just one km beyond Dunlaoghaire, enjoy a visit to James Joyce Tower and museum in Sandycove, where part of Joyces masterpiece, Ulysses, was written.
For lovers of horse-racing, Leopardstown Racecourse is 8 km from Monkstown.
The M50 Motorway, giving access to the national motorway network, is also at a distance of 8km.
