Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday apartment in Westbourne Grove - Bonchurch Road
2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with Portobello Road market just around the corner
The next big thing
Westbourne Grove is seriously captivating. Every coffee is artisan, every pastry hand-made, and you’ll have to look long and hard to find a truly straight line. This part of town is a shrine to the individual, with Golborne and Portobello Road markets just around the corner, as well as a host of cutting edge galleries. But after all that quirk, you’ll long for a little simplicity – and this is where Bonchurch Road excels. Subtly contemporary with a luscious elegance, after a long day wearing your shoe leather thin, these are the comfortable, dove-grey sofas and quilted headboards you’ll want to come home to.
Your hosts have lived here for just six months but it already reflects their personalities, with pretty furniture and carefully chosen art. They’re both keen cooks, and when the weekend dawns sunny they head out into the British countryside.
The open-plan living space is relaxed and inviting, a wall of glass overlooking the refined. Snuggle down into the heaps of cushions, or perch at the breakfast bar upon a stylish metal-legged stool. The kitchen’s state of the art, with dining for four upon regal velvet chairs.
Both bedrooms are doubles, and the master’s particularly impressive, with a flatscreen TV and two cream bedside tables. But before you begin to luxuriate, do steal a moment on the balcony, with its silvered lantern and delicately tarnished oil painting.

About Owner / Property Manager
onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.
Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.
Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.
Why Owner / Property Manager chose Westbourne Grove
Grove by name, groovy by nature. This Notting Hill composite of creamily stuccoed mansions and low-rise retail spaces has spawned west London’s hang-out high street of choice. The locals are a mix of haut bohèmes shopping at ampersand brands (Zadig & Voltaire, Aubin & Wills, Wolf & Badger) and resident stalwarts who have seen the area rise from the nefarious days of slum-landlord Peter Rachman to become one of the most attractive parts of London.
Outsiders come here to roam the boutiques (which at least manage to feel independent even if most these days aren’t strictly so), pick up Ottolenghi’s flourless chocolate tea-cake and enjoy the welcome freely handed out by locals, proud to live in a neighbourhood that is so exclusively inclusive.
