On the Tate Gallery side of St Ives with lovely long views over Porthmeor Beach and ‘the island’, a modern house in a quiet no through road ending in a footpath to the coastal path, and 400 yards from shops, pubs and restaurants. Inside, stylish, uncluttered and comfortable. On the seaward side is an open piece of lawned garden with seats and great views, and, at the back, a neat enclosed little paved courtyard (table/chairs, barbecue) with potted plants.

Entrance porch (for coats/boots); small hall and open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave) with laminate floor, sofa bed, ‘living flame’ gas fire, TV/DVD and sea/beach views through the patio doors. From the hall, stairs (stairgate) up to two bedrooms – a double with super views, and one with two single beds; smart bathroom (suite plus bath-shower) with tiled floor. Best for maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. Unusually for St Ives, parking is possible on the quiet road, otherwise public car park 350 yards.
