Set in the world famous Bernese Oberland, Grindelwald is the base for some of Europe's best walking trails and has become something of a hiking Mecca over the years. During the winter months with over 260 kms of slopes in the Jungfrau region you are spoilt for choice.

The chalet is perfectly located in a very quiet private road just a 7 minutes walk from the main street / railway station (Grindelwald Dorf).

The studio Pilatus is 56m2 (2-3 persons) with a huge terrace.

The apartment Shreckhorn with 3.5 rooms (2 bedrooms) 86m2 (4-5 persons).

Both are very spacious. Each one has a very large south facing balcony or large terrace (studio) with uninterrupted views of the Eiger North Face and the surrounding mountain world.

Schreckhorn has modern furniture with a fully equipped modern and brand new kitchen. Both have internet (WIFI), cable LCD TV and DVD player. There are covered parking spaces (carports) for the apartment and the studio.

Cleaning (at the end of your stay), linen, towels, kitchen towels, Internet and the carport - everything is included in the rates. Only a tourist tax (about 3 - 6 CHF per adults and teenies) has to be paid locally & additionally.

This modern, fresh 3.5 room apartment with 2 bedrooms boasts amazing views of the mountains. The Eiger seems within reach. The newly renovated kitchen is well equipped (dish washer, etc.). The dining-/living area and the bedrooms are spacious. There is a free undercover parking (carport). The apartment is within a 5-10 minutes walk from the train station and within 100m of a bus stop. The apartment 'Shreckhorn' is deally located for skiing and hiking holidays.

We are living in the northern part of Switzerland and we spent our winter holidays in the last years in Grindelwald. We love very much skiing and sledding. Also hiking in summer is marvelous.

When we got the opportunity to buy this wonderful apartment 'Schreckhorn' in the Chalet JASMINE we didn't hesitate.

Also our neighbour, Rita, was very much excited of the studio 'Pilatus' and its huge terrace that she bought the studio immediately as well.

We are the owners since July 2013

Very wide and sunny balcony/terrace overlooking the ski area 'Kleine Scheidegg & Männlichen' and an incredible view to the Eiger North Face. The apartment and the studio are very bright (window front) and spacious.

Very good location. Close to the ski bus stop (100 m) to all skiing and hiking areas: Firstbahn, Männlichenbahn or Grund railway station for the train to Kleine Scheidegg (Top of Europe).

5 minutes walk to the railway station or the center of Grindelwald for shopping, dining or relaxing in one of the beautiful Restaurants and Bars.

Empty parking lot, understandable instruction about getting the key. All rooms für Ski equipment clerarly marked. The appartment was clean and in a good smell like fresh mountain air. The view to the mountains is breathtaking. The kitchen well equipped. Over all a perfect stay. We can recommend it to everyone.

Good location, comfortable and well-equipped

We had a great week in the Schreckhorn apartment, which is located roughly equidistant between Grindelwald Grund (access to Scheidegg and Maennlichen Bahn with a great number of lifts) and Grindelwald First (the place with the longest toboggan run in the world and the ski runs to go to on a sunny day). Bus 32 stops at the bottom of the road by the school and takes you to the station or straight on to First, which saves the climb uphill to the main road (but careful: it only runs once an hour!). The apartment itself is very warm, offers lovely views to the Eiger and some of the ski slopes (you can watch the first and last skiers come down as you have your breakfast/afternoon tea!) and includes everything you need for a week or two. The kitchen is really well-equipped and can produce family meals if required. The beds are new and comfortable. The apartment manager gave us lots of good advice on day 1 and a lift to the station when we left. - If we had any criticism at all, it would have to be that the apartment is appointed in a very neutral, modern decor (mostly Ikea), whereas it would have been nicer to be surrounded by Swiss-style timber furniture for a more authentic look. But we are really nit-picking here: the place is lovely, and we would return!

Light comfortable apartment with spectacular views

The Pilatus apartment is light, spacious and comfortable and has a very well appointed kitchen and beautiful outdoor area with spectacular mountain views.It is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Grindelwald which has many restaurants and shops and a great indoor swimming pool.
The agent Diarmuid is very helpful and friendly and a great source of local knowledge.
Grindelwald is the perfect place for hiking and from which to explore this spectacular region. It is in the valley below the Eiger and the Jungfrau and very close to the breathtaking world heritage listed Trummelbach falls.

We stayed at the chalet for 6 nights (2 parents & 2 kids).
The chalet is nice, warm and well maintained - feels like at HOME !!! Great view and perfect location !!!

Great location and beautiful views!

A lovely two bedrooms apartment with a fantastic views on Eiger! Great location, not far from the centre, in a quiet area. Our two small kids had found a draw full of toys to play with, while parents enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the views. The manager of the property, Diarmuid, was very kind and gave us a lift from and to the train station, as well as lots of information on the activities in the area. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who want to have a relaxing time in Grindelwald and we are planning to come back here in the future.
