Sleeps 5 plus baby. 2 bedroom apartment with far reaching coastal and sea views. Luxuriously appointed with high ceilings, beautiful period features and ultra modern German kitchen. Five minute walk to beach, kids paddling pool with cafe, seafront pubs and restaurants, one minute walk to town centre. Parking space included. IOW is just 20-60 minutes by ferry/catamaran from the South Coast and offers rolling countryside, beautiful beaches and excellent attractions, pubs and restaurants.

Fabulous upper ground floor Victorian 2 bedroom apartment with high ceilings, wood floor and period features aplenty but with the benefit of brand new kitchen, with German appliances, stone worktop and designer bathroom. This is primarily our holiday home so no cost has been spared in equipping the flat for a fantastic break by the sea, all complemented by glorious sea views and down the coast to the 'Lighthouse' at Steephill Cove. The flat benefits from a private parking space and close proximity to everything you need for a relaxing stay- restaurants, cafes, shops, hairdresser, chemist, pubs all just minutes away on foot. The Michelin starred Robert Thompson at the Hambrough restaurant is just 30 seconds stroll away. 650 square feet of space with light and airy open plan living room and kitchen at a cheaper cost than a three star hotel. Freeview TV, DVD and films, board games and Nintendo Wii are all available. Welcome pack on arrival, great quality linen and cleaning at checkout.

2 Roslyn House was fully renovated in 2012 and its original Victorian splendour over a period of two months with the added benefit of the installation of ultra modern kitchen and bathroom. The flat has an excellent balance of proximity to beach, coastal walks, shops, restaurants while enjoying a parking space and a quiet location.

Food lovers will enjoy the range of fayre on offer, from cheap and cheerful pub grub to Spanish Tapas, to the Michelin starred Hambrough Hotel, the latter being just 30 seconds from the front door.

Ventnor is an excellent resort for families, having a relaxed and intimate feeling with a great beach, paddling pool for kids (with a restaurant next door so adults can enjoy a refreshing drink while keeping an eye on the children) and a small playground 3mins from the flat. IOW boasts a number of pubs with playgrounds, bouncy castles and even a maze to occupy the young ones. Blackgang Chine amusement park is a short drive and a multiplex cinema is available in Newport, 20 minutes drive away and ten pin bowling at Ryde.

The South Western coast of IOW has stunning beaches and cliff walks for the energetically inclined.

Nothing is far away with restaurants, cafes and coffee shops to suit all budgets in short walking distance. Robert Thompson at the Hambrough Hotel has been voted one of the UK's best restaurants and is particularly good value at lunch time. Indian, Chinese Spanish and Seafood establishments provide good choice and the Spyglass pub has a wonderful location at the east end of Ventnor Esplanade. The Pond Cafe at Bonchurch serves excellent Italian food a Co-operative supermarket one minute away and freshly caught fish and crab available at the Haven for those wanting to cook at home.

Ventnor Botanical Gardens are an indication of Ventnor's fames micro-climate and are a ten minute walk on the way to Steephill Cove on a lovely undulating coastal path. It's possible to walk several miles beyond Bonchurch right at the sea shore.

Historical interest is provided by Osborne House, the seaside residence of Queen Victoria, and notable visitors to the area have included Charles Dickens, who wrote some of Great Expectations in Bonchurch and Edward Elgar who honeymooned in Ventnor. IOW Steam Railway which runs 5 miles from Wootton.

Mackeral fishing and lobster potting trips are available daily from the Haven. Ventnor Wintergardens will undergo a major investment and refurbishment in 2013 offering a convention centre and quality restaurant.
