This apartment is very welcoming, luxurious, comfortable and ideal both as a holiday home or a long time home in sunny Malta. It is air-conditioned and furnished with modern & practical furnishings, equipped with satellite connection for 2 TV 32' flat screens, it also has 2 DVD players and has WIFI service throughout. The layout consists of 2 bedrooms, ensuite shower room, separate bathroom, living area/dining area/fully fitted and equipped hemp kitchen, box room, bathroom and an underlying 1 car garage lock up. The complex enjoys a large size pool with sun decks equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. 10 pool passes are granted during your tenancy. The front sea view is magnificent and offers open sea views of the horizon to the left and cute bay views with fishermen boats to the right. The sun never stops shining here on summer days until late evening so you can eat dinner on the terrace should you wish with some local fine wine. Storage is not a problem here as there are 3 large wardrobes plus an extra box room plus a lock up garage too.

From the apartment's front sun terrace on the 4th floor you will enjoy remarkable blue sea fantastic views of the entire bay and all it's motion. Sailing boats, gliding jet skis and fishing boats are the norm view from the terrace. Many restaurants, wine bars, cafes, pubs all line the promenade along the bay side. Marsascala is a very pretty Maltese resort you will love.

WE SAW THEM ALL WHILST STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION 2 YEARS AGO AND CHOSE THIS PARTICULAR APARTMENT BECAUSE IT ENJOYS THE MOST OPEN MAGNIFICENT VIEWS. FROM IT'S LOCATION AND HIGH LEVEL, IT DOMINATES THE ENTIRE BAY. THE LAYOUT IS ALSO VERY WELCOMING WITH AMPLE STORAGE. THE APARTMENT IS VERY BRIGHT AND FULL OF LIGHT WITH ITS ENORMOUS FRONT TERRACE DOOR. THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING APARTMENT. A LOCK UP GARAGE ALSO WAS PURCHASED FOR IT, TO MAKE IT COMPLETE. NO EXPENSE HAS BEEN SPARED TO MAKE THIS APARTMENT A SUPERBLY FINISHED AND FURNISHED HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

NOW THAT THE APARTMENT IS COMPLETE AND READY IT''S MAIN POSITIVES OTHER THAN THE INCREDIBLE VIEWS ARE THE 2 SATELLITE TELEVISIONS, THE WIFI, IT'S HOMELY AND WELCOMING FURNISHINGS THAT ARE EASY ON THE SENSES AND THE GARAGE WITH SECURE LOCK UP. A VERY NICE STAY IN MASASCALA

We stayed two adults in the apartment for 12 days during July 2013 in a very hot period. We found the apartment very clean and very well equipped (air condition very useful due to the heat) - it highly met all our expectations. Everything seemed very new and modern; also there were plenty of towels (even to take to the pool area – useful when you arrive by plane) and sheets, and even miniature shampoo and bath soap like in a hotel. Also we found the area very lovely, the harbour filled with nice restaurants without too much "tourism" locomotion, also in the small streets nice restaurants were to be found. For more city life it was only a bus ride away. Charlene met us on arrival she was very professional, nice and very helpful during the entire stay.
Only thing is, that we found the pool area very expensive (5 euro pr. person in week days and 10 euro in weekends), however it was very nice and clean with cosy sun bets and umbrellas and a well tempered pool - toilet always very clean and never too crowded. Then you might also swim from the cliffs in the harbour as did the locals or go to St. Thomas bay - Beach only 20 min. walk from the apartment – for free.
We would suggest two keys handed out, as, if you do not arrive home at the same time you will find yourself locked out of the building :)
All in all a very nice and strongly recommendable apartment.

FANTASTIC APARTMENT

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for one week, with our kids age 12 and 17. Ta Monita is an impressive complex, and the apartment was a perfect base for us. The décor was very tasty and stylish like a luxury hotel room, but even better because of the well equipped kitchen. Both of the bedrooms had comfortable beds with plenty of storage space for the luggage and the air-con worked perfectly. The bathrooms were clean and luxurious as well. From the balcony the view was astonishing as you were able to experience the beautiful ocean and harbour of Marsascala. It was an amazing way to start the day with such a magnificent, silent and peaceful view.

The pool area was spacious, with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Everything was clean and very well maintained, including the toilets and showers. The pool area also felt very safe because it was locked and guarded by a pool-attendant throughout the day. However, we found the pool fee very expensive (5 euro pr. person in week days and 10 euro in weekends). The cool refreshments from the beverage automat was a relief during the hottest and sunniest days.

Marsascala has a lot of restaurants within a walking distance from the apartment, which is quite convenient. The “ La Spigola” restaurant just down the hill from the complex was perfect, where the friendly staff served great meals. We also recommend the “Tal Familja” and “Grabiel” restaurants.

Charlene was very kind and professional down to the smallest details. She answered all of our questions through email before our arrival. She also arranged that her taxi driver Rodney picked us up at the airport and drove us safely in a 16-seat bus to the apartment for 30 euro. It was also very comfortable to use Rodney's taxi service for the departure to the airport.

We had the time of our life and we highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Marsascala.

Marsascala is a small village which was a summer resort for many local southerners. Over time Marsascala became a village in it's own right with it's own parish, local council and amenities. The bay line is lined with many colourful and pretty restaurants, bars and cafeterias. A long and lovely walking promenade crosses all the way along the bay from Zonqor Point to the old ruins of The Jerma Palace. Many fishermen boats are scattered in the bay with their colourful traditional primary colours which the Maltese Luzzu (boat) is very proud of. Very close to the apartment you will find the parish church, the Bank of Valletta and a handy ATM machine, an HSBC bank is also nearby together with the local council and various restaurants, the primary school, bars and cafes. There is also a new family park with landscaped gardens and children’s swings in the vicinity. A large supermarket is closeby also (car is required or a bus trip), the name of this shop is Chef's Choice.

Taxi transfers from Airport to Marsascala. Arriva Bus Service provides these bus numbers from the airport to various localities X1, X2, X3 and X4. Most commonly used car hire rentals at the Malta airport are Hertz, Avis, Budget, Thrifty and a few others also which you can check out for costs on their respective sites. The complex is set on a hill so steep hills are inevitable if you are using bus service and you need to walk from the bus stop with your luggage to the complex. Route buses to Marsascala from and to Valletta (capital city) 91, 92 and 93. Bus tickets can be purchased online and (hop on hop off) daily/weekly tickets can be purchased also. This apartment comes complete with everything and yet more than others on the books right now, however, the price is the same as others with less to offer.
