Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday apartment in Bauduen - La Petite Fleur
A Simple Double Bedroom Getaway In A Quaint Historic Village House
Welcome to La Petite Fleur, our honest and simple medieval bolt hole, hidden away in Bauduen, a quiet Provençal village. Surrounded by the magnificent Lake Sainte-Croix, the village is nestled in the scented hills and mountains unique to this region.
We can promise a true experience of life in the slow lane. Living in London ourselves, we know how important rest from the world can be, which is why the apartment is dedicated to simple pleasures- reading, eating olives, drinking wine- ooh, and sleeping.
Our beautiful apartment boasts the doorstep convenience of fresh-water swimming from miles of unspoilt lakeside (the water's so clean it is used for drinking), hillside walks (sometimes glimpsing eagles and vultures) and stunning scenery.
The village has plenty to offer in terms of eating out, and the 30 second walk to the award-winning boulangerie can be performed half-asleep and in slippers!
La Petite Fleur can be used as a base for discovering wonderful perched villages such as the world-famous Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (only 20 minutes away) or the numerous vineyards that dot the region. Or- as we would also highly recommend- simply use La Petite Fleur as a base for just being and playing in the sunshine.
We have aimed to provide all that is needed for a peaceful, relaxing break. The kitchen is set up for all the delights Provence has to offer- most importantly, a corkscrew and a saucisson knife...
Entering through an historic walnut doorway this intimate residence has a good-sized living and dining area, leading onto the spacious double bedroom- which is well insulated against even the most oppressive summer heat! An additional foldaway bed is also available.
A TV/DVD player is provided (for watching DVDs only), together with a selection of DVDs and an iPod dock.
La Petite Fleur also has a separate shower room and WC, as well as two hot-plates and combination oven for cooking.
Suitable for children and we would also consider taking pets, please enquire.
All linen and towels (apart from beach towels) provided. High-chair also available.
- children welcome

About Richard Stewart
We live in London but fell in love with Bauduen many years ago; in fact, we were married there in 2008 and still retain family ties to the village. We totally understand the need to get away from it all and to relax, and this timeless village fits the bill perfectly.
Richard Stewart purchased this apartment in 2003
Why Richard Stewart chose Bauduen
We have spent many happy summers in La Petite Fleur; it is an ideal choice for those seeking a quiet, relaxing romantic break. The apartment can also provide a fantastic base for those who want a more active holiday.
What makes this apartment unique
The village of Bauduen is unique; it is located high in the hills, well away from the muggy coast, yet boasts a beautiful lake literally right on La Petite Fleur's doorstep. The apartment is tucked away off the main street, yet is a stone's throw from the local bar and family-run restaurants. Lose yourself in Bauduen's medieval streets, and take a trip back in time where the only sounds are the chirrups of the swallows overhead.
