Admirably tucked away just a quick sidestep off the vibrant little shop-filled thoroughfare known as ‘Calle della Mandola’ (Street of the Almond) connecting Campo Santo Stefano and Campo Sant’ Angelo with the famous Rialto Bridge and district to the north and St. Mark’s Square and its myriad attractions to the south, Ca’ Rossini 1 is on the first floor of the property and offers air-conditioning throughout.
Sleeping four guests in fresh and uncluttered simplicity and named after the adjacent ‘Multisala Rossini’ complex (recently opened and handily housing a 3-screen cinema, bar, restaurant and supermarket for stocking up on supplies), Ca’ Rossini 1 features a white-beamed main open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a contemporary L-shaped sofa, a dining table seating six and a fully-fitted kitchen all decked out in subtle oyster colours liberally peppered with accents of hot mustard yellow.
The two comfy bedrooms are both en-suite, completely private and similarly arranged - one with a double bed and up-to-the-minute shower room bedecked in iridescent mosaic tiles to the rear of the main room, and the second sitting just to the side of the main room with a double bed and an equally modern en-suite shower room with extensive mosaic tiling and a washing machine.

Moments on foot to some of Venice's finest attractions including the gorgeous Gothic Palazzo Fortuny (Museum of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo - famous photographer, painter, stage and textile designer), the charming Scala Contarini del Bovolo (currently under renovation) and the Teatro La Fenice, and within a few minutes of two vaporetto (water bus) stops for easy travel around the city - one at Rialto on the Riva Del Carbon and the other at Sant’ Angelo.
Also close to two ‘Traghetto’ services ferrying passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal (please check operating times) - one between the Riva Del Carbon near Rialto in the district of San Marco and the Riva Del Vin at San Silvestro in the district San Polo and the other between Calle Del Tragheto near Sant' Angelo in San Marco and San Toma in San Polo.
This apartment in the San Marco precinct just off of the main path is great. It is easy to walk almost anywhere from its location. The apartment is very comfortable and great for overcoming the initial impact of travel from 8 time zones away. We had a great time. Thanks.
I loved this place so much. It looked like the photos if not better. We arrived and it was rainy and muggy and they had thoughtfully gone ahead of us and turned on the air so we were greeted by a nice cool apt. The kitchen is lovely and easy to use, the couch was super comfortable ( i meant to write down the designer) the bathrooms are great. The second bath was smaller but very hi style and the master bath was nice and had laundry so we could wash and dry some clothes and an excellent shower that i knew would be the best one we had our whole time in europe. It's next door to a grocery store which had everything you need to cook or just get water and coffee etc. There is a cinema next to that which is open early and has a coffee bar ( Caio Stefano and his excellent cappucino's!) It's about a ten minute walk to St. Marks and very quiet little calle. They had a lovley large book with all the info you could want on everything for Venice. The wifi almost worked too well as my teen never slept texting his friends all night! The beds were nice and sheets were lovely they are slightly hard but we found that all through italy it's just the type of bed they use. They greeted us from our water taxi and walked us to the apt and then came to close it up and check out and walk us back to water taxi. Everything was smooth and easy.
This apartment and "Views on Venice," the management company, were top notch. It is even nicer than it looks in the pictures. It is close to a water bus stop, and walkable to most everywhere one would want to go in San Marco. The property has quality furniture and kitchen facilities, and everything is very clean. There is a well stocked grocery market/deli a few doors away, and the management staff is very helpful and responsive to any/all needs, including meeting you at the water bus stop to accompany you to the property.

Arrivals between 7.30 p.m. and midnight incur a late arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival.
The Rental Deposit (40% of the rental) will be debited from your credit card when you finalize your booking with us, while the balance will be debited by you through our credit card payment gateway at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Note that if paying by bank transfer, an extra €20 administrative fee will be charged to each transaction (i.e. deposit and final payment).
