This beautifully decorated, north facing, modern home, “cellar vie”, offers guests a relaxing, warm, homely environment to enjoy. The home has 5 spacious bedrooms (all en suite), 2 lounges, each with a fireplace, an open plan kitchen and a large central dining area leading onto a large covered outside patio and pool. The patio overlooks a picturesque stream and the 18th hole of the De Zalze golf course. The main house is equip with top of the range appliances, DSTV and underfloor heating for those cold winter evenings. The loft above the garage is for the children and has a TV, table tennis table etc.
On arrival guests will be greeted by the host resident, Levison Mwanda, who is there to assist you with any requirements/laundry/cleaning. He will also prepare a basic breakfast, simple lunch and dinner if required.
The house is situated on the magnificent De Zalze golf estate in the heart of a beautiful valley in the Stellenbosch wine lands only 40kms from cape town. De Zalze is an award winning international standard golf course and all facilities are provided including the terrace restaurant, golf shop, golf carts and a driving range. There is a leading restaurant for fine dining and wine tasting can be enjoyed at the Klein Zalze winery situated on the estate.
Stellenbosch – a 5 minute drive is a vibrant historic university town lined with fine examples of Cape Dutch, Georgian and Victorian architecture and this together with the scenically breathtaking surrounds makes it a photographers dream. For the culture enthusiast there are art galleries, museums and a variety of music, theatre and entertainment. The beauty and splendour of Stellenbosch with its surrounding wine lands is characterized by extensive vineyards, majestic mountain ranges and unique fynbos vegetation. Stellenbosch is internationally renowned for its fine wine and as a culinary hotspot and the drive around Stellenbosch offers some of the most spectacular wine farms where visitors are welcomed and wine tasting is a daily activity.
