CALAHONDA is the ideal base for a holiday full of activities.
From golfing to surfing and fishing to skiing there is something to cater for everyone. Calahonda has its own 'train' service which runs a loop from El Zoco in the south of the resort, up The Strip, past Club Del Sol, as far as the Bonita Hills development.
On the return journey it goes via Lidl and the eastern edge of Calahonda, finally looping back via Los Olivos, opposite Gran Calahonda.
Gran Calahonda is just a few minutes walk from Calahonda beach.
This is ideal for a dip in the sea or perhaps an all-day long laze in the sun.
However, nearby Cabopino is where all the action is at,It's one of the prettiest beaches on the coast.
Cabopino beach has something for everyone. You can hire sunbeds, umbrellas and take part in numerous watersports.
Andy's beach bar is great for lunch and dinners saving the need to take a picnic.
Cabopino Port is one of the most attractive on the Costa del Sol.
It's surrounded by apartments, shops and restaurants and is like a mini Puerto Banus.
Albert's on the port is a popular place for lunch and dinner, with its great decor and great views.
To the east there are great beaches at Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos and to the west Marbella and Puerto Banus.
