Amazing relaxing feel the minute we step in the door. Sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. Walking out of the door and into Kemptown village for provisions, or walking down to the seafront for a picnic with a bottle of wine. It's perfect!

What makes this apartment unique

Close to everything great about Brighton, but a quiet and peaceful spot just a little removed from the noise and hustle and bustle.

Lovely apartment in great location!

This is a lovely apartment and just a short walk into town. The owners were really helpful as were the agents before arrival. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the welcome bottle of wine much appreciated! Lovely weather while we were there so could watch the world go by from the balcony. Easy 10 minute walk into town either along the seafront or through Kemptown - loved the local bakery at the top of the road for warm croissants at breakfast time. Lots to do and see in Brighton, even managed to catch a home Brighton & Hove football match at their local stadium, just a short train journey away. Would definitely recommend the apartment to family and friends.

Well located apartment in convenient location

Portland Place is a good, well presented apartment. We found it a very relaxing place to stay, with plenty of room for the family (2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 12). The 2nd bedroom is small but was fine for our boys.

The apartment is located about 15 minutes walk from the Pavillion, pier etc. and within a pebble's throw of the beach.

Very close by is also a really good selection of places to eat and drink in the St James's St area. We had a good lunch at The Neighbourhood cafe, and fabulous pizzas back at the apartment from Pizza Face. Also just around the corner is Real Patisserie from where we enjoyed some good bread and breakfast pastries. A local co-op store meant we could grab the essentials. Finally, we enjoyed a couple of bottles of lovely wine from Butlers.

We would certainly recommend the apartment and would definitely consider staying again the next time that we are in Brighton.
