The Martin family, originally from the Manchester area, have holidayed in Bodorgan every year since the 1920's.
It was built in 1963 and sited for the best views looking towards Snowdonia and across Malltraeth Sands and the neighbouring Bodorgan Estate. It is a purpose built holiday house designed by a well known architect, a grand design of its day.
It is a spacious bright and airy house with fantastic views, a very private and quiet position, a brilliant base for rural and coastal walks, beaches and birdwatching.
The house has spectacular views overlooking the famous Bodorgan Estate in the beautiful South West of Anglesey, towards Lllandwyn Island and Lighthouse, Newborough Forest and the Snowdonia mountain range. The best beaches (Newborough and Aberffraw) are a short drive away, the national trust property Plas Newydd and the Anglesey Sea Zoo provide family entertainment, and its 5 miles to Anglesey's race track Trac Mon. The sailing centres of Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay are a short trip up the coast, and the vast Malltraeth estuary is a walkers and birdwatching haven just a five minute walk down a quiet lane.
