About Jenny Martin
The Martin family, originally from Manchester, have holidayed on the North Wales coast since the railways, and in Bodorgan every year since the 1920's!
Jenny Martin purchased this bungalow in 1963
Why Jenny Martin chose Malltraeth
Built in 1963 on a pair of small fields with the best views to Snowdonia and across Malltraeth Sands and the Bodorgan Estate. It is a purpose built holiday house, and an example of cutting edge architecture of its time.
What makes this bungalow unique
It is a spacious bright and airy house with fantastic views, a very private and quiet position, a brilliant base for rural and coastal walks, beaches and birdwatching. It retains many original 1960's period features, sympathetically modernised with central heating (originally electric underfloor heating) and mostly double glazing with some original opening metal windows. Designed by the celebrated architect Brian Lingard.
