Tenby Town Centre, enclosed garden with playground, 5 mins walk from beach.

Just 5 minutes walk from North Beach and Tenby town centre, this guest wing of a Georgian house is very well appointed and offers a great holiday base.

The entrance is into the hallway and into the kitchen / dining room which has a range of fully fitted solid oak shaker style units, electric double oven with gas hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and a microwave oven. The dining area has a round dining table with 4 chairs. The sitting room has a sofa, two armchairs, nest of tables, TV with FreeSat, Video and DVD and a CD player. A range of DVDs, CDs and books are provided for guests to borrow. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, desk with chair, TV and an en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. Bedroom 2 has two single “zip'n'link” 3' beds which can convert to a superking size bed if required (please state your preference at the time of booking), wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The adjacent family bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin. Bedlinen and towels are included. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also provided. There is a dedicated garden area to with table and chairs, please not the area is not enclosed so children need supervision. There is full mains gas central heating throughout the property and lovely chestnut flooring throughout. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. There is parking for one car adjacent to the property and more spaces available if required in the nearby public car park.

Please note that the property is accessed via an iron staircase so not suitable for people with impaired mobility.

SPACIOUS BUT COSY AND INVITING. EVERYTHING ONE COULD POSSIBLY NEED WAS IN THIS VERY SPECIAL APARTMENT. THE WINE, FRUIT AND WELSH CAKES WERE LOVELY TOUCHES. CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN. OH AND THE DOUBLE BED WAS SO COMFORTABLE, I SLEPT LIKE A LOG!

Tenby is known in Welsh as Dinbych-y-pysgod, meaning little town of the fishes. It was established by the Normans as a fortified town and still has most of its 13th century medieval town walls. It is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales' only coastal national park.

Tenby is a very pretty seaside town with four sandy beaches and lots of character. The town has many attractions including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse; the 15th century St. Mary's Church; the Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust); 1905 Tenby Lifeboat House, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. It also has lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes. There are boats running every day from Tenby's harbour to Caldey Island, where there is a working monastery.

Just outside Tenby there are lots of attractions to visit, including Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, Oakwood Adventure and Leisure Park and the Dinosaur Park. For nightlife there is the Sands Nightclub just down the road in Saundersfoot, and the Queen's Hall in Narberth for live music and comedy.

Tenby has its own train station so you could easily visit without a car and spend your time just enjoying the narrow cobbled streets, Georgian architecture and blue-flagged beaches. Not to mention the award-winning fish and chips! It really is a fabulous seaside town and one that many come back to again and again.

DIRECTIONS TO THE PROPERTY:

Directions – Travelling from Carmarthen, make your way on the A40 to St Clears then the A477 to Kilgetty then the A478 to Tenby. Proceed in to Tenby and turn left onto the Narberth road and you will find your self on “The Norton”. When you see the sign on your left for Gas Lane take the next turn on the right into Merlins Court Mews. You will see Bell Tree House on your right , please turn in here and park. We will telephone you in the week prior to your holiday to arrange arrival and key collection.
