Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday villa in Herceg Novi - Villa Victoria
2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa, only steps from the sea
The Villa Victoria is an elegant 100-year-old family house in Savina, a quiet and upmarket quarter of Herceg Novi: a great place to get away from it all and unwind under the Mediterranean sunshine. The interior of the two double bedroom villa is characterised by high ceilings, polished wooden floors and spacious rooms furnished with antique Montenegrin dressers, armchairs and paintings – making this one of our most distinctive properties in the Kotor region.
The real appeal of Villa Victoria however is the wonderful private garden with mature palm trees and glorious views of the beautiful Bay of Kotor. A previous owner was a sailor who travelled the world and brought back samples of plants from his travels to plant back home – the result is this highly unique garden. As well as exotic plants there’s a barbecue and patio furniture, which guests are welcome to use for outdoor dining. There’s also a path that leads directly to the seaside promenade – along which there’s a choice of restaurants serving up locally caught seafood and other regional specialities. The promenade stretches for seven kilometres and is a lovely place to go for a gentle stroll as you decide what and where to eat. It also gives access to clean and calm beaches for swimming and sunbathing.
The property has a rich and characterful interior with two spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms and kitchen-dining area.

Having lived in Montenegro for five years now I know the coast quite well and absolutely love the relaxed lifestyle here. My favourite properties are right on the waterfront because I love swimming in the sea in the hot summer months.

Why Michael chose Herceg Novi
It has a good location and interesting antique furnishings making it instantly homely.
What makes this villa unique
From Villa Victoria it’s a ten-minute walk to the old town of Herceg Novi, with its historic and cultural attractions. The impressive fortresses of Spanjola and Fort Mare are among the notable landmarks to look out for during your stay in Herceg Novi, another being the town’s iconic Sahat-Kula clock tower.
