3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with mountain and sea views

An attractive and well-appointed Andalusian townhouse set in the beautiful hill top village of La Heredia, with views to the sea and to the mountains beyond. La Heredia is a very well established community with residents living all the year round. It has its own bars, restaurants and cafés so if you don’t want to drive, just stroll down to the entrance to the village for a coffee, tapas, snack or delicious three course meal. This is a gated community, with a 24 hour security system, beautiful well kept gardens and 2 community swimming pools one of which is heated in the winter months. The beach of San Pedro, only 5 kms away, with its sunbeds and umbrellas, has free parking and many beach side restaurants and bars.(Please contact me for prices if you are seeking to rent for 6 months. We have just had to say goodbye to our lovely tenant)

Our townhouse is laid out on three floors. The front door opens off the cobbled street into the main living room and dining area, which leads through a French window onto a west-facing terrace The terrace is large (7m x 4m ) and an awning is provided to shade the area from the sun . There is plenty of room for al fresco dining. Immediately outside the front of the property is parking space for one car on the cobbled street. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and it enjoys panoramic views of the mountains beyond and the sea down to the Rock of Gibraltar. The sunsets on the terrace are very dramatic. Gibraltar can be seen on a clear day and it's lights are easily recognisable at night. The house is situated on the western side of La Heredia and as with all the houses on this side it enjoys amazing sunsets, breathtaking and far reaching views and is above and well set back from the Ronda Road below The terrace area is very private for alfresco dining and is securely fenced off.

Just off the living area is the kitchen which is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge and microwave. On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a bathroom. On the lower ground floor is a second reception room, Adjoining this is a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

All bedrooms have air conditioning/heating. The lower ground area can be used as a separate are.

In the vicinity of La Heredia are a wealth of golf courses, the closest being Los Arqueros in the valley below and La Quinta a few minutes drive away. La Zagaleta is to be found further up the Ronda Road, although you have to be a member to use this one!

The restaurants and bars at the entrance to La Heredia are popular with the local residents. LA HEREDIA PANADERIA AND DELI for breakfast and lunch where you can buy your daily bread and sit and have a cup of coffee and a light snack. The deli sells the most delicious cheeses and excellent wines. For a lunchtime drink, visit THE K BAR, situated next to The new Hairy Lemon restaurant, which offers snacks and drinks all day long and stays open till late. GUILLERMO BUTCHER AND BRASSERIE provides drinks and light snacks and if you don't way to cook try the delicious take-away home made gourmet meals as well as their excellent choice of cheeses and wines and meats. The Meat selection is also excellent, though a bit pricey. THE HAIRY LEMON restaurant has now replaced La Casita, and it does a great selection of pizzas, either to eat in, or take away, and some wonderful Mediterranean dishes. The closest supermarket to La Heredia, Open Cor, is a 2 minute drive down the road and has late night opening. It is located at the entrance to the Commercial area of Los Monte Halcones. The closest petrol station is a 5 minute drive away, at the first San Pedro roundabout.

Using the A7-E15 toll road from Malaga Airport, the village of La Heredia is only a 40 minute drive away. Most budget airlines serve Malaga including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, Thomson Fly, FlyBe, Jet 2, Vueling and more!

La Heredia is a 10 minute drive from the wide open beaches at San Pedro, 2 minute drive to Los Arqueros Golf Club, 5 minutes from La Quinta Golf and 12 minute drive from the world famous marina of Puerto Banus. Within 5 minutes of leaving the motorway, you will arrive at La Heredia, a beautiful Andalusian village located just off the Ronda road. Hugging the hillside with subtle colours and individual designs, the town house represent everything which is truly Andalusian in character and style.. The village of La Heredia has its own bars, restaurants and cafés so if you don’t want to drive, just stroll down to the entrance to the village to enjoy a coffee, tapas, light lunch or delicious meal.

For a self-catering holiday there is a fantastic selection of local supermarkets to choose from. A 2 minutes drive away is Open Cor, at the entrance to Monte Halcones; 5 minutes away is the Mercadona supermarket in San Pedro town; 12 minutes to Puerto Banus is El Corte Ingles, a well known Spanish department store, with a huge food hall on the ground floor; or go further afield, a 15 minute drive, to a huge shopping complex, at Junction 185 on the San Pedro to Malaga A7 –E15 I (N340) ring round around Marbella, to find La Cañada Shopping Centre.

There is a wide range of places to visit. For character, history and charm choose Marbella Old Town or a visit to Ronda. A few minutes drive from La Heredia is Benahavis, Rincón de la Gastronomía or the 'dining room' of the Costa del Sol, which is a pretty mountain village with many townhouses and villas, a few shops and a vast choice of reasonably priced restaurants. You will spoilt for choice for golf courses, with Los Arqueros located in the valley below. If water parks and theme parks is what you are after Agualand, Mijas Costa, Aquavelis are well worth a visit. There is plenty of night life on the Costa del Sol in Marbella and Puerto Banus. Something can be found for all the family in Puerto Banus in the evenings, from late night opening of boutique designer shops, to pizzerias and burger bars, fine dining and night clubs. Take a stroll or sit back and relax, sipping sangria in one of the many bars fronting the marina.

Nueva Andalucia and San Pedro have some of the most stunning Blue Flag beaches in the area. Take the time to explore these. Marbella stretches along some 27 kilometres of coastline from Cabopino to San Pedro and boasts some of the finest beaches of the Costa del Sol. So there are plenty of beaches to choose from!

The local fiestas in Spain are well celebrated. Easter - when the statues of the Virgin Mary and Christ are processed through the town on Good Friday. The Feria is held around the 15th of August for the Virgen del Rosario, the local patron saint. Romería - a pilgrimage to a small mountain church is in early October.
