Contemporary, elegantly and comfortably furnished, semi detached 'townhouse' style villa with spectacular views, located in the secluded and peaceful mountain community of Monte Elviria, La Mairena 8 minutes by car from the beautiful Marbella beaches at Elviria, some of the best on the coast.


This elegant home is located in a peaceful, low density residential area of townhouses with striking views, 400m above sea level with superb views. This house is in a street of 36 townhouses - not all of them are sold, and so the area is quiet.


The property and interior is contemporary yet very welcoming and comfortable. Hardwood tables, large sofa and easy chairs, and attractive decoration combine to create a welcoming and relaxing ambiance.


There are two internal courtyard terraces providing sheltered, quiet spots to relax and read.

In addition there is a roof terrace perfect for sun bathing; a large first floor terrace/balcony and then a large ground floor terrace with gas BBQ and table and chairs – perfect for alfresco dining - all offering stunning views to mountains and sea.


There is a large shared swimming pool near the house. It is open from 1st May to 31st October each year. Access is on a simple unfenced path along the edge of the development. Children must always be accompanied.


The property is filled with light, with floor to ceiling windows and glass doors overlooking the mountains and sea. From the terraces one can enjoy sea and mountain views for miles.


A car is recommended as the residential area is located 6km up a hill, (8 minutes drive) north of Elviria and the beach. However, Elviria is well served by buses and there are taxis in Elviria serving Monte Elviria should you wish to leave the car behind when you dine. A taxi from an Elviria bar or restaurant or Nikki Beach to the house is about 12 euro.


The house is very comfortable in summer, when most properties are very hot. Due to its hilltop location, the living space and bedrooms do not get uncomfortably warm - but stay temperate.

In winter, when temperatures fall in southern Spain, the house has a wood burning stove and electric heating as the on the hill top location, temperatures are typically 4 degrees cooler than on the beach.


This property is ideal for family holidays, but is not suitable for the elderly or the very young, or people with limited mobility. The property is a townhouse so has flights of stairs for access to the different floors, In addition the gardens and pool are on a hillside, so pose a potential danger to very young children or the elderly.

Please note that not all the 36 townhouses are occupied - some are empty properties.


The street is very quiet and parking is possible directly in front of the property. Off road parking is not provided.

Why Andy chose Elviria area

Stunning views; tranquil environment yet walking distance to bars and restaurants.

The house has a contemporary, modern design with a smart interior, located close to the coast (only 6 kms drive away), yet 'away from it all' in the hilltop community of Monte Elviria, Marbella.

The urbanisation is 36 townhouses, but not all are sold and occupied, so it is peaceful. There is a large pool open in summer, but access is along a stony path on the edge of the hillside so not suitable for people with limited mobility, or young children.

What makes this house unique

The house is spacious and full of light. Floor to ceiling windows brings the outdoors in; whilst also keeping the house cool and comfortable, even in the height of summer.

The house is stylish, yet relaxed; equipped as a ‘home-from-home’ with quality furniture, fittings, very comfortable double bedrooms, The Guest bedroom can be twins.; lovely kitchen and lots of outdoor space to enjoy sunbathing or shade, views or privacy area, filled with light. Attention to detail and style.

Upon setting foot in this beautiful townhouse my partner and I were nearly blown away with the attention to detail they gave to their home. Every little detail was very carefully looked after. And there are the amazingly perfect view from the terrace or the balconies of the valley, mountains, and the nearby sea. One could simply stand from sunrise until night staring at the view in complete awe of their surroundings. For me to say I have no complaints at all, and I was so very impressed by everything, is pretty much a ground shaking event. I promise that, and without any second thoughts, I would book a stay in their home again and again. To add to all of this; the hosts are some of the kindest people you will ever know. I sincerely hope as many people as possible get to meet this wonderful couple while staying in their truly perfect home.

Wir verbrachten zu vier Erwachsenen einen sehr schönen Golfurlaub in diesem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten und perfekt ausgestatteten Reihenhaus.

Die Blicke von Balkon und Terrasse sind wunderschön. Die Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und auch während des Aufenthaltes jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar.

Ein Auto ist allerdings zwingend notwendig, da man bis in den Ort Elviria ca. 7 Minuten Fahrzeit benötigt.

Our Marbella Break

My partner & I needed a quiet relaxing week from work and we certainly made the right choice. The house is well decorated and presented and really comfortable.

From the first the emails enquiring about the house to our last day we were really looked after – communication with the owners was very good.

They were really welcoming and gave us lots of information to help make our stay comfortable, like places to eat, what to visit, etc.

The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, close to country walks and with amazing views. Parking is easy. The house is well equipped with good sheets, towels. The kitchen is much better than a normal rental, with everything we needed to cook.

We used the gas BBQ a lot – eating on the terrace, looking out to the sea and mountains is something we’ll always remember. Really recommend this place.

Traumhaftes Townhouse

Wir, Ehepaar, waren für 3 Wochen im September/Oktober 2014 Gäste in diesem luxuriösen Stadthaus und haben es genossen: komfortable Einrichtung mit vielen kleinen liebevollen Extras, durch die man sich wirklich heimisch fühlt. Absolut sauber, der wöchentliche Reinigungsservice war excellent. Perfekt ausgestattete Küche.

Eine sehr ausführliche Informationsmappe mit Tipps und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten nebst Reiseführer lag bei unserer Ankunft parat.

Der Blick von den Terrassen in die Berge, Täler und bis aufs Meer ist atemberaubend. Der abendliche Blick auf das Lichtermeer im Tal und den Sternenhimmel romantisch. Sehr ruhig gelegen.

Auto unabdingbar, aber in unmittelbare Nähe jegliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine große Auswahl an Restaurants. In 10 Minuten ist man am tollen Sandstrand von Elviria und Marbella ist auch nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Alles in allem ein umwerfender Urlaub.

Die finanzielle Abwicklung mit den Eigentümern lief völlig unproblematisch über Paypal, die Rückerstattung der Kaution sofort nach Rückkehr.

Breathtaking holiday

We stayed 3 weeks in September 2014 in the townhouse and had a wonderful relaxing time.

Very friendly and excellent service by the co-owner when we arrived. The house was very clean and all you needed was there, including towels and toiletries. Every week beds were made with fresh sheets and clean towels. We have rented for the last 10 to 15 years houses and apartments in the area of Marbella and had never before such great service from the owners. The first feeling we had was we were coming home.

Wonderful maintained and well equipped townhouse with superb views!

We fully enjoyed the sunrise each morning from the master bedroom with only the sounds of nature in the background.

We really recommend this house for people without young children and who loves the relaxing silence.

Only a 10 to 15 minutes drive to the beach with beautiful views and 20 minutes to Marbella where you have a lot of excellent restaurants.

Late summer holiday

We stayed at the townhouse in late summer: we were wanting a base where we could invite family around for BBQs and to relax who were also over in Spain. The place has plenty of outside space, and a good gas BBQ, as well as a shared pool. The development is not fully occupied, so the place is quiet. One has to take care walking to the pool, as there is no rail along the path, but the views are amazing and there’s few other people around.

We found the house to have everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The drive up and down the hill takes less than 10 minutes, and it’s a quite road, but it really is worth it as the views from the area and from the house are wonderful and really make this a special place to stay.

Late Summer holiday

My wife and I stayed at this lovely house at the end of August and into September. I had booked it sometime in advance and the owners were really helpful with information and advice about the area.

The house is in a peaceful area and to wake up each morning to those wonderful views was a real pleasure. I think it’s a lot more spacious than it appears in the photos, and the house is one of the best equipped holiday homes we’ve rented.

There is a 9 hole golf course a few minutes way, and a further 15 minutes away are some of the coasts best courses. It was a really good base from which to explore Andalucia, and we made plenty of day trips, including the Alhambra, the capital Seville and the beaches on the Tarifa coast.

This attractively furnished and well-equipped house is located in Monte Elviria, La Mairena, a peaceful hilltop residential area with sea and mountain views. It is just 6 kilometres north of the elegant Marbella residential area of Elviria, reached by a scenic road that winds up the wooded hill.

Elviria has some of the best beaches on the Mediterranean Costa del Sol. Walking & cycling routes are also nearby.

The area combines tranquillity, stunning views, with ease of access to the very nearby beaches and all the visitor attractions and amenities on the coast.


There is a choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Enjoy different types of cuisine from Italian bistro food & gourmet pizzas; traditional bar snacks and meals; as well as fine dining. A short car or taxi journey away (8 minutes) are all the bars, restaurants and cafes of Elviria; from 5 star hotel Michelin fine dining to tapas beach bars and everything in between. For example enjoy a wonderful Eggs Benedict brunch at the acclaimed ‘Cafe Arts’; or have a family meal at the elegant terrace at the elegant ‘Beach House’.


The property is close to the Don Carlos 5 Star Resort and its world-famous Nikki Beach club. Also within 10 minutes drive is the Vincci Estrella del Mar 5 beach club – offering breakfast, lunch, dinners, drinks and cocktails.


Within walking distance there is a gym & golf course at El Soto; the world-class Hofsaess Tennis Academy, as well as relaxing walking and hiking routes. In Elviria is the popular tree canopy activity park, suitable for all ages. In addition there are quad bikes available for hire to explore the adjacent country trails. Local adventure activity firms also offer a full range of water sports and land based activities.

House not suitable for young children


There are local supermarkets, a healthcare centre, chemist, local stores, and a 7 days- a-week, 365 days-a-year convenience supermarket open till 2am, selling UK/Dutch/German and other international newspapers, magazines, gourmet foods and wine and everyday household items.

On the way to Marbella is the huge La Cañada shopping centre and for designer boutiques, one can visit Puerto Banus.


10 minutes drive away are three world-class spa resorts. The 5 star La Cala Golf Resort & Spa is easily accessed directly from Monte Elviria; whilst down in Elviria there is the 5 star Don Carlos Hotel & Spa; and the Vincci Estrella del Mar Spa. All over mssage and other spa treatments; indoor and outdoor pools and gyms.


The local bar/restaurant, Kudu, within walking distance often have live music and entertainment at the weekends and throughout the summer. In addition there is a restaurant, bar and terrace at the El Soto Golf Club 5 minutes drive away.

In Elviria, the restaurants all feature live music and 15 minutes away is Marbella with its acclaimed nightlife.



Located at the bottom of the hill, in Elviria OPENCOR is a very well stocked, high quality convenience store, open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Ideal for buying international newspapers too


Over the road, on the seaside is Elviria Deli – for gourmet foods and snacks to go


Located in Elviria, opposite side of the roundabout to OPENCOR; Supersol is a Spanish supermarket, stocking many British food items – it is not very well presented though.


This German supermarket in a few minutes west of Elviria, just off the A7, direction Marbella. Good selection of fresh produce and dairy.


This is a Spanish supermarket, next door to LIDL. More of a day to day supermarket.


This is the best supermarket in Marbella, located in El Corte Ingles department store – in Fuengirola, east of Elviria, or Puerto Banus, Marbella, west of Elviria


Close to the house, up on the hill there are a few places to eat.
