Cortijo Las Olivas is perfectly situated in the heart of 'The three provinces' (Malaga, Cordoba and Granada) and next to the stunning aquamarine lake of Iznajar to provide a perfectly located, relaxing base for touring of all the sights of Andalucia.
Cortijo Las Olivas comprises of 3 (completely separate and private) stylish and well equipped self-catering villas, a large pool and Rose Gardens. This elegant and tranquil mountain valley complex is only 45 minutes from Malaga Airport and within easy access of Malaga, Granada, Cordoba, Marbella, Seville and Costa-del-Sol. Enjoy a taste of "the Real Spain" close to the picturesque "Pueblo Blanco" of Iznajar, perched beside the spectacular aquamarine Lake of Andalucia. All 3 villas have been designed and built by the present owners with a high standard of workmanship and comfort in mind. The accommodation is spacious, bright, airy and modern. Yet the villa oozes an Andalucian feel and charm. Interior decor is to a high standard. Tastefully and comfortably furnished and equipped to a high specification. All kitchen equipment is updated yearly.
You will find each villa caters to your needs with a welcome pack, tea, sugar, coffee, and all the basic condiments you could need for your stay so that you don’t need to rush out to the shops right away. A pre-arrival shopping and grocery service can be provided for a small charge of €15. just ask Lianne.
All the doors and windows have shutters and all floors are fully tiled, which helps keep the villa cool in the summer months. Each villa has satellite television, dvd player, board games and access to wifi internet connection.
Clean linens and towels are provided and changed at the end of each week.
Iznajar is an incredible white Spanish village, rich in culture and history, perched on a hillside overlooking the aquamarine lakes. It must be seen! Iznajar has a variety of banks with ATM's - village hospital, cafes, restaurants and bars. There are a wide variety of shops:- butchers, fruit / veg, pharmacy, ironmongers, optician etc. The locals are extremely pleasant and helpful - you will find it like shopping in a bygone era.
Food is cheap and of very good quality.
Other local activities include horse riding, walking, bird watching, cycling and tennis, sailing or fishing on the lake.
There are also plenty of people offering yoga, massage or drive the children to the Wolf park, Donkey sanctuary, crocodile park or Aqualand water park
Rute: a further ten minutes up the road has a great supermarket, “Mercadona, the famous Anis museum, a chocolate factory and a Flamenco bar.
Antequera: boasts a number of supermarkets, large shopping area with boutiques, bullring, numerous bars and restaurants, plus La Vironique shopping mall with Eroski hypermarket, food
hall and cinema. In the town there is a bull ring with restaurant. These aren’t the only attractions -there is an old alcazaba at the top of the town, El Torre del Homenaje, with terrific views.
Markets:- there are weekly markets in most of the towns and villages.
Good selection of local restaurants and bars in the surrounding area a number on the A33 maximum of 20 minutes drive, all have menu in English if required:- El Charcon (resembles a castle), Bar Rossi, Hotel Caserio de Iznajar by the lake, La Paloma, Le Maison (by station Salinas) with the up market option Barclo La Bobadilla Hotel.
There is no light pollution at Cortijo Las Olivas offering views of the night sky like you've never seen before! The Milky Way has to be seen to be believed on a warm Andalucian night.

A booking deposit of 20% is required to secure your villa. This is payable either by bank transfer or via paypal. The balance is payable 4 weeks prior to your holiday.
