Open plan studio apartment with west facing stunning views over the calm Chenin Bay and out towards the Caribbean Sea. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. ‘The Studio’ is located on the quiet, prestigious, residential peninsula of Westerhall Point at the southern tip of Grenada. We are situated at the perfect point for exploring Grenada; a 15 minute drive from some of the beautiful beaches of Grenada with La Sagesse to the east of the island in one direction and Grand Anse, Morne Rouge to the west of the island in the other direction; a 30 minute drive from the Grand Etang Rain Forest with its many waterfalls and beauty spots. There are plenty of other activities on the island including walking, biking, sailing, snorkeling and diving.
The Studio is set in the grounds of our modern home which is surrounded by an acre of garden. We live on-site and we are happy to help at any time without intruding on your privacy.
Step out of The Studio onto a large patio area which is a great place to eat, drink and soak up the view. Also a great place to relax on the sun loungers and the perfect place to start the day with breakfast and to end the day watching the glorious sunset. You will also have use of our large infinity edge swimming pool.
The Studio is designed for two people with a large open plan central room which has a double bed at one side and a living/sitting area at the other. There is a doorway leading to a fully equipped kitchenette and there is also a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The patio doors and windows are mosquito screened and there is air conditioning (at an extra charge) as well as a large ceiling fan positioned over the double bed. There is internet access. We supply all linen and towels as well as a complimentary ‘Welcome Pack’ of basic groceries to get you started. There is a small supermarket just a short drive away with larger supermarkets in Grand Anse and St Georges. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within 10 to 15 minutes drive.
We advise that you rent a car for the duration of your stay and we are happy to recommend reliable car-rental companies. You can collect the car on your arrival at the airport or we will be happy to collect you from the airport and the car can then be delivered to you at ‘The Studio’. There is a large parking area on our private drive.
The Studio is strictly no smoking although smoking is permitted on the patio.
The "Studio" apartment was a wonderful home away from home. Ann & Van are the most gracious hosts, our welcome package included everything you need to get started, they recommended a car rental company, met me at the airport and assisted in my orientation to driving on the "wrong" side of the road. The studio is located in the beautiful Westerhall Point area, strongly advise you rent a car as the studio is not close to the bus. It is a short drive to beautiful beaches and points of interest. At the end of the day you can enjoy the pool,view and a lovely appointed apartment. Will most surely return to Grenada and stay at the studio apartment.

The hosts Anne and Van took care of everything. They picked us up from the harbour and showed us all, from supermaket to beaches. They apartement is well equiped with good kitchen facilities, birght and clean. It is a kind of annex to their great home. A wonderfull welcome package provided all food you need for the first time and also a bottle of wine. Best is the big infinity pool and watching sunsets from the terrace. A wonderfull place and a great stay with charming hosts.
We recently had a wonderful week long stay at The Studio, Westerhall Point. The apartment met our needs. It was very clean and spacious. During the morning we would have our breakfast on the large patio overlooking a Caribbean blue bay spotted with white sail boats. The view was spectacular. In the afternoons we enjoyed swims in the large infinity edge pool surrounded by a beautiful garden. The owners, Anne and Van, could not have been more helpful. They met us at the airport, made recommendations regarding car hire, made sure our refrigerator was stocked with the essentials, and provided us with suggestions for daily excursions. We couldn't have had a better time. We would highly recommend this accommodation and will be returning in the future.
My husband has already written a most detailed review which I fully endorse, but he failed to mention the very generous & well thought out "Welcome Pack" Anne & Van provided! Eggs, bread, milk, cheese, fresh orange juice, fruit, bottled water & even a few beers. More than enough to survive on when you don't fancy driving off to restaurants/shops ... This is a beautiful, immaculately kept place, the photos speak for themselves!
We have recently returned from a perfect 5-night stay with Ann and Van in the studio on their wonderful property in the south of Grenada.
The main house and the studio have been well designed to give excellent privacy while sharing facilities, and we had a great, relaxing time. The garden surrounding the property is simply beautiful, and this is shown well in the photographs on the HomeAway listing; the pool, too, is large and extremely well maintained and sited.
The property is on the crest of the Westerhall Peninsula, a gated community about 20' drive to the East of the island's capital, St Georges. It has commanding views over the surrounding inlets, facing west. A car is essential, but this allows ready access to lots of interesting sights and events in the south of the island - for example, we had a great morning at the National Stadium in St Georges at their 40th anniversary Independence celebrations with live steel bands, stilt walkers, food stands, children's dancing troupes etc etc.
The studio is spacious and well-equipped with modern appliances, and the bed is very comfortable. The photos and description on the HomeAway site give a very accurate impression. As we prefer, it has an excellent ceiling fan and a separate moveable fan - there is very effective air conditioning, but we only needed this to cool the room when first returning after we'd been out, or while dressing after a shower. There is very effective mosquito screening of doors and windows.
The area is quiet and beautifully landscaped, and it's nice to walk around the peninsula - a bit like a local 'lives of the rich and famous'! There's a beach 5' walk away from the property, right on the end of the peninsula, which is usually empty and very private.
There is a range of good restaurants within 15-20' drive, and the nearest supermarket is only 5' away from the entrance drive to the peninsula.
Ann and Van are charming and extremely helpful hosts, full of good advice about the island, and they make themselves available without in any way being intrusive. They provide a helpful book of recommendations and a file of local tourist information.
We would thoroughly recommend the Studio, which we feel represents excellent value for money, and we hope very much to return.
I spent 12 days in the Studio in absolute contentment. Even though I sallied forth each day my primary objective was easy relaxation which was blissfully achieved. Ann and Van were cordial and accommodating hosts from arranging a car hire and meeting me at the airport straight through to hugs goodbye. They were unobtrusive but ever available to answer questions or give advice.
Ann has designed and nourished a wonderful and sprawling garden. The studio and main house are exquisitely designed and constructed using the finest materials. The view is as good as it gets on the island and the infinity pool was a luxurious and frequently used feature.

The use of air conditioning is at an extra cost, calculated on your departure.
25% deposit will secure the dates requested. In the event of cancellation it is non-refundable unless a replacement is found. The full balance is due six weeks prior to arrival.
