Beautiful Lodging Three Blocks to the Plaza!
This lovely town home is a very nice alternative to small and expensive Santa Fe hotel rooms. Everything is of high quality and decorated with local art, ensuring a pleasant stay in a perfect location.
Pueblo-style architecture, viga log ceilings, real plaster walls, slate tile floors, kiva fireplaces and original New Mexican art ensure a true 'Santa Fe' experience!
Enjoy all of the amenities you'd hope for in a high end lodging: Luxury baths, full kitchen with all utensils and appliances, internet connection, high thread count sheets, washer/dryer, A/C, radiant heat, private patio and more.
Walk around the corner and be at the Plaza without having to worry about parking with your two underground, secured spaces. Absolutely the best location in town for the new Convention Center, too; it's right across the street!
Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with great separation of space. The master bedroom has it's own fireplace, jetted tub and private deck. Each of the two guest rooms also have their own baths. The third, main floor bedroom/office is the smallest and doesn't have a window but has access to the living areas and it's own bath with shower.
Relax on the patio (with outdoor gas fireplace) or on the upstairs deck.
Entertain and prepare meals in the fully stocked, large kitchen with sitting area and built-in computer desk.
Stroll to museums, restaurants, shopping and galleries and then head back to the peace of your own 'home' in Santa Fe.
A stay here is like having the best 'Luxury Suite' in any of the hotels within walking distance to the Plaza but with much more space and privacy.

We had been coming to New Mexico and Santa Fe for almost twenty years and decided we wanted a place to call our own!
We collect New Mexican art and artists and love the amazing work that they do. New Mexico is like no other state and I'm happy to be a small part of it. We travel a lot and the arts, restaurant and cultural scenes in Santa Fe are world class and it's surprising how well it is known around the world. We recently rented an apartment in Bordeaux, France and the French owner was on his way to....the Santa Fe Opera!
We chose El Corazon because of it's wonderful location; we can walk to almost everything in town. We were just tired of expensive hotel rooms, too, and wanted more space and a kitchen while we were in Santa Fe. We can relax by the fire, in the patio or entertain in the kitchen. Plus now I have an official place to put more of the stuff we collect! We only own one place in Santa Fe, so we're not part of a big rental company, ensuring a personalized 'Santa Fe' stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Santa Fe and the condo was ideally situated to everything we wanted to do -- both in walking and in driving. The accommodation and amenities of the place were outstanding.
It was a little odd to have to leave the condo so that it could be viewed by perspective buyers however. The first time was no big deal since we had already made plans and it was later in the afternoon. The second time -- around lunch time -- was inconvenient since we had to rearrange our schedules to accommodate. I understood, once we arrived, that the unit is on the market and that the renter is in the business to sell it. If you are looking for an uninterrupted, relaxing, no hassle vacation rental I am unable to endorse or recommend this service due to this issue.
Other than that the condo was delightful. I did receive my $600 deposit back in a timely fashion –- without any mention of the inconvenience however.
Our four week stay is coming to an end. We have throughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely unit at El Corazon. The unit is fully equipped and is stocked with great linens and towels. The Southwestern decor is just perfect. We were able to have friends and family visit comfortably. The location could just not be better. The neighborhood is quiet, but convenient to all that Santa Fe has to offer. We only used our car (parked in the very convenient underground garage) to leave Santa Fe. We hope to return soon.
We were extremely pleased with the townhome at El Corazon. Just a few blocks from the Plaza, the complex was well kept and quiet. Three couples traveling together shared the space for a week long vacation. It had all the comforts of home.. We could all spend time together in the great room, patio and/or kitchen or go to our rooms for a private retreat. All bedrooms have their own bath with luxurious towels. The beds & linens were very, very comfortable. Gourmet kitchen was equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need.
We very rarely needed a car unless we were heading to another area of New Mexico. There was an abundance of great restaurants, museums, shops and galleries all within easy walking distance.
Chip was a great host! Super communication before and during our stay. The wine and treats he left for us were an added touch that was much appreciated after a long day of traveling.
When in Santa Fe in the future, we will definitely be booking this property again. Top notch all the way!
We had a wonderful stay in Santa Fe, and found the El Corazon location to be absolutely perfect. The layout, condition and features far exceeded our expectations, and overall we had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend El Corazon to any travelers who seek a walkable location near the heart (ok pardon the pun) of the city. Thanks to Chip for being so responsive and such a terrific host.
We loved staying here. Very gracious, clean with plenty of space. The location to the Plaza was an easy walking distance. The folks at the desk and staff were very helpful. Our host was easy to communicate with and gave clear instructions on how to get there and use the house. The space is beautifully appointed, the master bath lovely with a great soaking tub. It was great to have a kitchen with a few items like olive oil and salt and pepper plus the complimentary wine, crackers and cookies. We ate them all. I would stay at here or in this complex again.
My husband and I have been coming to Santa Fe quite frequently the past few years and have always stayed at La Fonda. This year we wanted to bring our travel buddies to Santa Fe, and while the La Fonda is a lovely place to stay, we prefer to rent a condo when vacationing with our friends. I'm so thrilled to have come across this beautiful town home. The decor was so lovely, down to the smallest details. We wanted something close to the Plaza that we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. This is perfectly located. We were able to walk to most places - the only time we got the car out, was when we needed to drive somewhere out of town. We most definitely will want to rent this again in the future. Thanks Chip -- it was such a pleasure to stay in perfection!
Museums, shopping, galleries, restaurants, theaters, sightseeing by the dozens, all within a few blocks! Santa Fe Opera, skiing, Albuquerque, Chimayo all within an hour drive (or less). Taos in 1.5 hours.
