Luxurious 2 Bedroom Apartment Situated In La Alameda Apodaca

Two bedroom air-conditioned apartment on the 2nd floor of a fully refurbished elegant old building with lift access and free Wifi and telephone for locals calls. Fully equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave). All the rooms have beautiful fitted wooden floors and double glazing. One bedroom is double, the other is twin. The living room has a modern sofa and television. The bathroom has bath, shower and bidet.

About Ana Garcia

I am a Spanish woman who has been living in the UK for the last 20 years. I decided it was time to find a new home in Spain - somewhere to escape to for my holidays, and eventually to settle down in. After spending a lot of time thinking about where I most wanted to be, I decided that Cadiz was the perfect city. Somewhere I could happily live full time. Near the sea, and with fantastic food, music, dance (I'm a Flamenco dancer) and culture.

I fell in love with this apartment the first time I saw it, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it ! I think I was very lucky. It's in the best part of the city, and the renovated building and my apartment in particular is gorgeous.

What makes this apartment unique

The views over the Alameda and the sea, the peace and quiet in the evenings, despite being right in the heart of one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the south of Spain. And to see the very best Flamenco shows, I have to walk only two minutes to El Baluarte de Candaleria. A fantastic restaurant only a minute away:

Balandro (really one of the very best on Cadiz), and my favourite bar (El Veedor ... check out the tortillas) is just a short stagger away.

The place to stay in Cadiz

First of all, let me say that communicating with Ana was simple and straightforward, she would reply to any question within hours.
I only stayed for 4 nights because my main holiday was in another part of Spain, however Ana's apartment is the sort of place anyone would be happy to stay. The area-in the old town-holds so many surprises, you really do have to walk around a few corners to find hidden plazas that are a delight, as well as a number of decent restaurants, as well as some genuinely amazing tapas bars, my favourite on C/Buenos Aires was La Paloma, wonderful home cooked tapas with little twists, and the prices were amongst the most competative I have seen-and the owner is a fellow Barca fan too!
The flat itself probably reflects the owner, it is a comfortable, classy, and well furnished property, there is nothing I can think of that was left to be desired.
I have stayed in literally dozens of holiday lets in Spain, and I can honestly say that this is one of the most comfortable I have holidayed in.
If this was my own apartment I would be extremely proud of it!

Thank you Ana for everything, beautiful apartment very clean and modern. The garage was a bonus even though we never took the car out of garage for the 3 nights we stayed. Too many things to do in the beautiful city of Cadiz. We did all the tourist things including the hop on hop off bus tour which was very interesting. Also so many lovely restaurants on your doorstep, a brilliant holiday in a beautiful city. Thanks again.

Excellent location, modern contemporary apartment

The best holiday in years, great apartment , modern clean ideally located, close to all attractions including the beach. The owner Ana was extremely helpful and allowed a later departure from the apartment making thins easier on our last day, thank you. We hope to return to Cadiz in 2015

Very clean and great location

This apt is in a great location to walk anywhere in the Old City of Cadiz that you would want to go. We had a wonderful time in this charming city where everyone is so friendly and it is safe to walk anywhere at any time. Ana was so helpful and Antonio was great about getting us settled in. This apartment is just wonderful and the pictures do not do it justice. Modern, clean and perfectly located. Just a few mintues walk from beautiful squares, restaurants and shops. Cadiz itself is charming as are the people although if you don't speak Spanish I would recommend taking a phrase book. The railway and bus station are only a gentle 15 minute stroll away which we took advantage of for some wonderful day trips although I could have just mooched about Cadiz for the whole week and been perfectly happy. I would definitely come back and stay in Ana's apartment and would like to thank her for a superb holiday and for her help and flexibility.
