A Beautiful 2 Bedroom 3 Bathroom Newly Refurbished Modern Apartment

The apartment comprises of a spacious and welcoming sitting room with views to Arthurs Seat and Canongate Kirk. There is a flat screen Freeview TV and DVD player , digital radio and cd player, ipod and ipad docking station and free Broadband access

There are two bright bedrooms – one double and one twin both with en-suite and also a separate family bathroom. The apartment sleeps 4 and an extra folding bed for a child is available.

The kitchen diner is bright and spacious , fully fitted with microwave, dishwasher etc. and is very well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. This is a non smoking apartment.

The apartment is on the second floor and has a lift and full mobility access and also has gated underground parking - a huge bonus in the centre of town.

Old Tolbooth Wynd is ideally situated for Waverley Station – 5 minute walk and around a 10 minute walk from the bus station or the airport bus stops.

Walk through the private courtyard and you will find yourself in the Canongate area of the Royal Mile through the Old Tolbooth Arch built in 1581. Turn left to visit the historic Canongate Kirk and churchyard and the scene in 2011 of the Queen’s granddaughter’s wedding. Keep walking and you will soon come to Holyrood Palace , the Scottish Parliament and Dynamic Earth or climb Arthur’s seat for a panoramic view of the city.

Turn right at the arch and wander up the High Street to the Castle passing John Knox’s House , St, Giles Cathedral, the Old Parliament building and much more.

Exit the building onto Calton Road and it is a 5 minute walk to John Lewis and Harvey Nicholls and across St Andrews Square to the shops of George Street and Princess Street. There is also a Vue cinema complex at the top of Calton Road.

There are a wide selection of bars and restaurants in the Royal Mile and in town to suit all tastes and budgets. There is an information package in the apartment with recommended places to eat and details of places to visit.

If your visit includes a special celebration we would be happy to provide Champagne chocolates etc. at extra cost and to recommend romantic restaurants.

If you are looking for a good place to stay in Old town, with a secure parking garage, at no additional charge, you can not beat this apartment. Sandra was a joy to work with. Just about every site the 4 adults in our party wanted to visit, was an easy walk from the apartment.

Beautiful Place! Family Loved It!

Canadian family stayed here for 3 nights and they were very impressed with the space and comfort of this apartment. An excellent location off the Royal Mile and very safe building. We really enjoyed the seperate spaces, wifi, ensuite bathrooms, adapters and fire place ;) Encluded a parking space for cars which is great. And had all the little pots and pans etc.
Would love to come back to Edinburgh and do some more exploring and hope to have this apartment again! Thanks Sandra!

GREAT APARTMENT, GREAT LOCATION.

Just returned from a great weekend in Edinburgh, this apartment is well furnished and spacious, perfect for a weekend away.
Ideal location only 5 minutes walk from Waverly train station, 5 minutes walk from Holyrood Palace and 2 minutes from the Royal Mile.
Would certainly recommend this apartment and we plan to re-book in the future.

We miss it already!

My 2 sisters and I stayed at this lovely flat in Edinburgh. We are all Brazilian and I live in Canada. I had stayed at rental places before and I convinced them to do it for the first time. I can surely say that the 3 of us were really happy with our choice!

Location is absolutely perfect! Old town, walking distance to Waverly Station, couldn't be more central! Close to everything and at the same time, really quiet place.

Apartment is really cozy, comfortable and has absolutely everything you might need, from power adaptors to travel guides. Sandra is an extremely nice host who was helpful since day 1 (also gave us tips on restaurants and places to visit).

We are really looking forward to planning our next trip to Edinburgh and I am counting on Sandra to have us back again! :) Thanks for being so thoughtful!

Perfect apartment

My 2 sisters and myself just spent a 4 wonderful days at Sandra's apartment. The apartment is perfectly located , i.e.close to the center but still quiet. Everything is within walking distance. The interior is tastefully decorated and invites you to stay It is spacious with a lot of light, comfortable, clean and has a perfect layout. We did not miss a single thing. Sandra was very helpful and kind with everything before and during our stay. We can only recommend this apartment .

This flat is superbly located for The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, St.James Centre and Princes Street shopping and is only 5 or 6 minutes walk from the back of Waverley railway station. If you do have to travel by car there is FREE secure underground parking which is a HUGE plus in a place like Edinburgh. The property was very clean and well maintained with only a few scuffs and scrapes from previous visitors but it must be difficult to keep a place pristine when so many different groups of people are using it. It was great having an ensuite for each bedroom plus a bathroom with full size bath if you wanted a soak. The kitchen was large and well designed with plenty of space for dining and lots of cups, glasses, plates etc. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family as its so convenient for the town centre and is very comfortable. Booking was easy through Sandra the owner and she was always very prompt in replying to emails before our stay and even a couple of texts I sent her during our stay were dealt with promptly and efficiently. You are very well placed for eating out, pubs etc. practically on your doorstep. We usually stay in another apartment when we visit Edinburgh on a regular basis but it wasn't available this time - however we may just have found a better alternative so I'd better not say too many more wonderful things about it or else it will get booked up quickly and we won't be able to stay! Cannot recommend it enough - its a real find.
