The chalet, which boasts spacious rooms throughout, includes 5 double/twin bedrooms (2 with en-suite WCs and basins), large lounge and dining areas and 2 bathrooms.
Situated in a small hamlet on the lower road of Chatel, it affords wonderful scenery all round which can be viewed from the extensive, south facing balconies on both upper levels.
In the lounge area a UK Freesat TV to play both video and DVDs, a Hi-Fi and board games are provided for your entertainment.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and 2 fridges with freezer compartments.
The skiing areas Super Chatel and La Linga are both within 5 minutes drive with Pre-La-Joux another 5 mins past La Linga. There is a ski bus which stops a couple of hundred of metres from the property and is free to holders of ski-passes.
As usual everything you would ever need for a fantastic winter holiday. Location being at the top of our list. Easy access to ski areas, local supermarket and good restaurants. Very peaceful location with great views up the valley towards Chatel village. This is a very spacious property with a good garage as well as off road parking. We hope we will be able to visit this Chalet for many years to come.
A really nice place, perfect for our group and we had a great holiday. Facilities and equipment / comforts just right; really comfy beds, comfy lounge, great kitchen and bathrooms, great layout, cave / drying facilities etc great too - and we needed the snow shovels! Smooth and courteous booking and communication throughout. We'd definitely consider it again.
Chatel is a very pretty Savoyard village unspoilt by purpose built high-rise apartments. It boasts shops with an abundance of regional and local produce and a large 'Intermarche' supermarket (500 m from chalet) for your requirements. A wide choice of restaurants, with a friendly welcome, impeccable service and in attractive décors in keeping with the Savoyard environment can be found in and around the village and slopes. The village provides various other activities to enhance your stay, including tenpin bowling, ice skating, cinema, discotheques and fitness centre. Apres-ski can be enjoyed in one of the many bars, restaurants or cafes.
'Les Marmottons', the local playgroup, will look after your children (aged 2 to 8) from 8:30 to 17:30 Sunday through Friday.
The Châtel ski area extends across two massifs: Super-Châtel/Barbossine and Linga/ Pré-La-Joux/Plaine Dranse, and not forgetting the village lifts too. From Châtel there are direct links to Avoriaz and the Swiss resorts of Torgon and Morgins, giving you access to the huge Portes du Soleil ski area. With the Châtel ski pass you can ski around the resort as well as at Torgon, the “Corbeau” sector of Morgins and the “Braitaz” sector of La Chapelle d'Abondance. Enjoy hassle-free snow sports with the 'hands-free' ski pass that is read in your pocket as you pass. More than 200 ski lifts including 45 in the Châtel ski area alone. It's better than an amusement park. In the winter more than 300 people are busy running and maintaining the ski lifts.
All ski areas provide sufficient parking even at peak times.

Rental Rates include electricity and cleaning. Not linen or towels, you can bring your own or can be provided at a cost of € 14 per person for linen and €5 per person per bath towel.
The chalet should be left in a reasonable condition on departure - any excessive cleaning costs will be taken from the security deposit.
Start Date implies first night of stay. End Date implies last night of stay.
A £300 or €400 deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable up to 8 weeks prior to start of rental.
A refundable damage/security deposit of £300 is also required which will be collected with your final payment (or €400 by cheque for euro payment, cheque only used if necessary). This amount is refundable within 3 weeks of return less the reasonable cost of any breakages or damage.
