Beautifully Furnished Spacious Chalet With Especially High Ceilings

Walking distance to the picturesque French speaking village of Rougemont, 8 km. from Gstaad. 1st floor light filled. Sitting Room., recently decorated to a high standard with antiques, top fabrics. Separate Dining/Library Rm. Seating 10, with cupboards filled with china, glasses, cutlery, linen table clothes/napkins/placements; books and stereo. Well equipped Kitchen with Breakfast Table. Powder Room. Main Bedroom Super King Bed, en-suite bath/shower, TV,DVD Wi-Fi, Internet plenty of closet space. Stairs leading to a Studio with a large Desk, 2 chairs for computer use, closets and vanity unit.

All linens from The White Co. The Ground. Floor has 2 bedrooms with King Beds,and 1 single all en-suite bath/shower, TV (SKY),DVD,Wi-Fi, Internet sitting areas, lots of closet space. There is a kitchen ette china, glasses, cutlery, washer/separate dryer. The Garage leads directly to the Chalet. Parking for 1 med. Car or 2 small cars. A Wide Balcony on 3 sides offers tables and chairs (12).

Rougemont is a charming old Swiss village, which has a Grocery shop, Butcher, Bakery, Bank, Ski School and

Ski Rental. There are 4 restaurants, 1 of exceptional dining. There is a regular train service to Gstaad and to

Geneva (2 1/2 hrs.) It is a 5 minute walk from the chalet to the village. The drive to Gstaad is barely 10 minutes with

all the luxury shops, many restaurants, Hotels with Spas and Night Clubs. The Roads are cleared immediately

after Snowfalls on a regular basis.

The Videmanette Ski Lift allows access for a large ski area with 120 mountain pistes. It is 5 minutes by car or a

10/15 minute walk. The village offers winter sports in the surrounding ski area for cross-country trails and winter

hiking. A Skating ring is located in Gstaad, as are Horse Riding facilities and a Cinema.

The Chalet has direct views to the Vidamanette Ski Lift.

Notes Arrival is after 12PM and Departure is at 12PM. Tenants should be fully insured for accidents, personal injuries, theft, losses. The Landlord declines any recourse that an insurance company may exercise against the Landlord in case of an accident. References are required. 1 personal and 1 professional Available for longer lets. i.e. month of February, or month of January. Prices upon request.
25% dep is required to confirm the booking. The full amount is due 60 days before arrival as well as a security deposit of 2500.SF. which will be reimbursed within 3 weeks after stay. All the amounts will be refunded if the property can be rented again for the same period & the same amount. A final cleaning & laundry charge of 350 SF will be deducted from the deposit together with any damages

Notes:
A housekeeper comes each Friday and the beds are changed once a week, usually Saturday. The Housekeeper will greet you upon arrival and show the tenants the workings of the Chalet i.e. heating, fireplace, keys, general knowledge. There is also a list with all the telephone numbers on the desk. Maid service could be available more frequently upon request. A Handyman is on call for any technical problems.
