The luxury new-build home enjoys a private gated entrance and sits amongst peaceful residential surroundings, to create a lovely tranquil Torquay haven from which guests can enjoy their perfect Devon getaway.

With one secure parking space beyond the gated paved driveway, other friends and family can park a second car if needed on the road directly in front.

Providing immaculate accommodation over two floors, the spacious interior is finished to an exceptionally high contemporary standard and offers the perfect home-from-home experience, with all the desirable mod-cons and family-friendly features to hand!

The downstairs provides a fabulous floor ideal for entertaining, with a large open plan living area room situated alongside a second sitting room perfect for enjoying relaxed moments during your stay, with a warm and inviting ambience created by the plush soft furnishings, a wall mounted TV with full Satellite sports & movie choices, a DVD player, garden views and a stylish feature fireplace.

The open plan living and dining room is strikingly contemporary in comparison, with a beautiful informal open space beautifully illuminated by the floor-to-ceiling glazed garden view doors and the kitchen’s skylight feature, to enhance the chic modernist interior.

The open plan room is ideal for hosting memorable dinner parties and intimate gatherings, with a stylish dining area for up to 6 and an additional ‘alfresco’ dining terrace to the tranquil outside garden. The fully-equipped modernist kitchen features integrated appliances and a family-friendly practicality which makes it ideal for preparing delicious home cooked meals during your stay.

For guest’s convenience, a modern utility room offering full laundry facilities and a cloakroom WC are also situated to the downstairs, and for a family’s additional convenience; a high chair and travel cot are also provided for your use.

The Dorchesters is an amazing property, a home from home, very stylishly decorated to a high standard. It was a real pleasure to have stayed there. Would definitely come back.



The only things which would have made our stay even more enjoyable would have been to have a swimming pool but I guess you cant have everything!!

A great family house!

The Dorchesters is a new addition to the rental market in Torquay and has been furnished to a very good standard. The weather was rather chilly but the property provided a warm and comfortable retreat. It is only ten minutes walk down to the harbour and five minutes to the nearby Meadfoot beach.

As noted in the listing, only one car park space is available within the grounds, and additional parking is on the road outside. Be aware that coaches service the nearby hotels and the road is narrow.

We had our two year old granddaughter with us and so we enjoyed visits to Paignton Zoo and the model village at Babbacombe. There is an award winning fish restaurant Hanberrys worth checking out in Babbacombe.

We enjoyed a great family holiday and would recommend this property.
