Nancy's apartment is a really lovely place to stay in! It's 1 minute walk from West Kensington tube station and Barclays Cycle Rental station is just around the corner. Tesco Express is really close by. Everyday we used bicycles to get the center of London (Oxford street, Westminster etc.) - it's very easy, fast and cheap. Perfect for three persons - 2+1. Railroad is very quiet. And no one could hear trains during all night. Friendly and lovely people.

CONVENIENT FLAT, CONSCIENTIOUS LANDLORDS

My mum and I stayed in this flat for a week in the spring. Nancy was very patient answering my questions as I booked the flat through the HomeAway site, using this service for the first time. I had lots of questions and she replied quickly and had all the information I needed. The flat itself is close to two different stations on the tube, and there are shops and a pub and restaurants all nearby. The flat was comfortable with two bedrooms. It does back on the railroad line, so you hear the trains, but neither my mum nor I were particularly disturbed by noise. We had a couple of little hiccups with facilities (trying to figure out how the remote worked for the tv). Terry was extremely helpful, going out of his way to make sure everything was ship shape. We would happily stay at this flat again.

CHEERY CLEAN FLAT, *GREAT* TUBE ACCESS LONDON, LHR

Second stay for me, attending a tradeshow at Earls Court. Great value in this two bedrooom flat, clean, bright and comfortable with all the necessities (kitchen, clothes washer, nice bath, wifi), and *very* easy access to both District and Picadilly Underground lines, giving easy in/out from both central London and Heathrow. It's great! Hosts Nancy and Terry are responsive, helpful and just plain nice.

The flat backs to the rail line, but I wasn't bothered by the trains at all when they were running, and they don't run overnight. The neighborhood is very, well, normal - not fancy but it felt *quite* safe. And the flart is literally around the corner from all the basic shops: grocery, dry cleaning, full laundry, charming cafe (Tourino!), and a fun local pub, The Curtain's Up. You get a "slice of life" experience, and that's a plus when mixed in with seeing the classic tourist sites (which are also not to bbe missed).

This is a ground-floor flat in an ordinary residential town-house type building (quintessential London), so if you're looking for a 4-star hotel equivalent, this is not for you. But if you're looking for a safe, cheery place, with excellent tube access, and where you can cook (saves a lot of GBP) and wash clothes while you work or vacation, this place is a *deal*. For the price, you can't beat the value.

COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, SPACIOUS FLAT

This was our third visit to this flat and we will hopefully be making a fourth next year. The listing description is accurate and the tube stations are as near as they say they are. The owners are friendly and helpful and have provided good customer service each time we have visited.

All of the appliances in the flat are of good standard and in good working order. We would have no hesitation in recommending this flat to our friends.

OUTSTANDING WEST LONDON FLAT

As this was our first rental of this kind we were not sure what to expect. All of our expectations were exceeded!

This clean two bedroom, one bath flat had an ample living/eating area and a well stocked, fully appointed kitchen with dishwasher and clothes washer. All needs were met in the apartment and the furnishings and climate controls were comfortable for our stay.

More importantly though -- location location location! Located very close to the Piccadilly and District lines (a 1-2 minute walk from the West Kensington Station, 4-5 to Barons Court) we had no problems getting where we needed to go easily. Most places, one train line, two max for what we wanted to do. Easy transit to / from Heathrow and St. Pancras for the Eurostar Train. Groceries, wine shops, multiple pubs and quaint local restaurants abound in this vibrant community. We felt very safe walking around the area.

Finally, the flat owner Terry was waiting for us on arrival and made himself available for a few of our mundane logistics questions. He was very kind, courteous and helpful.

Definitely recommended and plan to go back soon!

The description for this flat was accurate in every way. The property was clean and well maintained. The appliances were all good quality and the "user instructions" for them were in a file which was very helpful.
The customer service from the owners was excellent.
I would have no hesitation in recommending it to a friend.
I have stayed there before and hope to stay again. The surrounding area is nice and the local shops are literally round the corner.

WONDERFUL STAY!

We stayed 9 days in this wonderful flat, and will book more stays here in the future. We initially chose this flat because of the proximity to the tube stations (1 min walk to West Kensington Station, 2 mins to Baron Court). The layout of the clean, well maintained flat was perfect to lounge in after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was fully updated and pristine. We didn't use the washer, but it was nice to know that we could if needed. Dishwasher helped too.

Terry and his wife were great in providing us any info we needed, including recommendations on nearby restaurants, pubs, markets, etc. The area is full of places to eat or grab a pint. Very safe neighborhood to walk in any time. Central London and tourist locations are only a few minutes on the tube.

The only negative is that you can hear a little bit of the noise from the trains in the early morning/late night when in the bedrooms. I am a very light sleeper, so i used earplugs which eliminated the problem. The others in my party slept just fine. Everything else about the stay was very quiet. There was no noise from upstairs that we could hear, nor was there any street noise. Very quiet neighborhood!

This really is a a perfect apartment, in a perfect location! I highly enjoy the West Kensington area, and will definitely be contacting Terry in the future to stay here again!
