2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment

This penthouse flat has a south-facing balcony with table, 2 chairs and chair cushions. The lounge and kitchen are filled with natural light. It has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard for your comfort and is perfectly suitable for 2, 3 or 4 guests. The master bedroom has a 5ft double divan bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a 5ft double divan bed but this can be separated to form 2 comfortable single beds, each with its own headboard. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. The bathroom is opposite the second bedroom and has shower over bath. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with ample hanging space. There is also a roomy storage cupboard with Dyson Hoover, steam iron, ironing board, laundry basket and clothes airer. The kitchen has everything you need - electric oven, gas hob, ample cooking pots and pans, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. We have provided enough crockery, cutlery and glassware to be able to fill the dishwasher before switching it on!

City Centre parking is no problem as we have a private space close to the lift in the garage underneath the apartments. But who needs a car in this apartment? It is so lovely to be able to walk round the corner to Carluccios or Bistro Blanc. A little further on you have Woody's and beyond that the Spanish Tapa Restaurant, El Castizo. Lots more great restaurants within walking distance in the town centre, including the fabulous Côte. We give you the low down on our favourite watering holes when you book. Apart from eating and drinking, Chichester offers great shopping, the Festival Theatre, a 10 screen Cineplex, the Nuffield Gym and Goodwood Golf and Aerodrome. There are many lovely villages within a short drive. We have two Roman Villas; one at Fishbourne near Bosham and the other at Bignor near Arundel. You can reach Portsmouth in under an hour. Why not visit the wonderful new Mary Rose Exhibition? West Sussex is one of the prettiest corners of Southern England with many events and festivals throughout the year.

My parents and I moved to the South Coast in the 60's and I went to Grammar School in Worthing. Robin was actually born in Rottingdean but when we met, he was living in Christchurch, Dorset and I was living on the Costa de la Luz in Spain! Distance proving no obstacle to the path of true love, I moved back to the UK in April 2009, we moved to Merston in 2010 and were married at the Millstream in Bosham in 2011!

We were attracted by the central location. When we saw the Show Flat, we were quite impressed but it was when we walked into 115 that we knew we had found the perfect place. The layout, the light, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony plus garage parking and Concierge Service sealed the deal. We have never regretted our purchase and one day, we shall retire here. In the mean time, you have the opportunity to enjoy the delights of Town Centre living with none of its drawbacks in the delightful City of Chichester.

If you want cheap and cheerful - don't waste your time looking at this apartment. There are other properties everywhere. If you feel you deserve comfort and luxury on your holiday, if you want to feel you're in a home for home, if you appreciate fine bedding, Egyptian cotton towels, John Lewis cutlery and crockery and a warm welcome, then 115 Shippam Street is definitely the place for you!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. Everything was exactly as described and in pristine condition. The situation could not be more perfect as it is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Chichester, but in a very quiet spot. Having secure underground parking is a real bonus, too.The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming, and the concierge was also very helpful - a mine of useful, local information. We'd love to go back!

The apartment was of an exceptionally high standard and the location could hardly be better, central, but lovely and quiet. The furnishings and appliances were first class and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Barbara and Robin were very welcoming. We have already recommended it to others and hope to return in the future.

  • Space is at a premium in the city centre but our bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. The beds are divan with deep, comfy mattresses. Bedroom 2 is a zipped together double but can be set up as twin beds, each with padded headboard. Padded mattress toppers and lightweight summer duvets are provided, all covered in John Lewis Poly-cotton linens. The bedrooms face inwards into the complex and are quiet. Very little noise from the surrounding town reaches you here.
