Quiet and private location, on coastal path, 5 mins' walk to beautiful Shanklin Old Village, on a cliff top just above Shanklin Chine. Completely unimpeded incredible far-reaching sea views across the whole of Sandown Bay to Culver Cliffs, from the glass-fronted balcony & full length glass windows which stretch across the whole of the open-plan living area & master bedroom. New, modern, luxury fittings throughout. There is a large open-plan living, dining room & kitchen with polished wood floors, granite worktops, fridge freezer, washer-dryer, double oven, microwave, and open Sea views; en-suite master bedroom also with open Sea views; 2 further spacious double (or more) bedrooms, (one with LCD TV & PS2), family bathroom; large Seafront balcony with relaxer chairs; LCD TV with SKY; DVD player; High-speed Broadband; accessible lift access; 5 mins from beach & village. Shanklin is located on the southern coast of the Isle of Wight and is an ideal location for short breaks, family holidays or extended stays. Both Shanklin and historic Shanklin Old Village and neighbouring Sandown and Ventnor boast some of the best weather in the UK and provide a large array of restaurants, pubs and shops and stunning and safe local sandy beaches, with great water sports opportunities.

The apartment provides easy access to all locations and will provide a luxurious and peaceful base, away from any crowds or road noise, yet close to all of the local amenities. A private car park space is provided and accessibility is good with lift access directly to the apartment door and disabled car parking spaces also available. There is also a lawned area in front of the apartment building and two parks within 2 minutes walk. If you would prefer to leave the car and walk, Shanklin Old Village with its pubs, shops and restaurants is less than 5 minutes walk away, as are the cliff steps which lead directly to the beach. Accessible level access to the beach takes approximately 15 minutes, or around 5 minutes by car. Sorry pets not allowed.

VIEWS YOU WILL NOT TIRE OF - HIGH CLASS APARTMENT

The views from the apartment are stunning whatever the weather. It is a beautifully furnished, spacious apartment with lots of personal touches by the owner made it feel like a home from home. More than enough space for a party of 6 with lots of electronic entertainment in the children's room should you need it on a rainy day. Ideally located to explore the I of W. Good parking arrangements. The owners instructions and support for the stay are top rate. Comfortable beds and furniture make you just want to stay in and enjoy the apartment. The telescope provided was used extensively to study the maritime craft passing by whether a large liner or a small canoe.
Definitely recommend this home to anyone wishing to stay on the Isle of Wight

BEAUTIFUL SPACIOUS APARTMENT

Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely apartment. Great communication with owner. Apartment is better than the photos and is beautifully furnished and very spacious. We have a teenager who loved the wifi and an 8 year old who loved her lovely big blue bedroom with TV. The weather was not great but it did not matter as the apartment was so nice to stay in. Would definitely book again great for families. A well deserved 5 stars.

STUNNING VIEW - EXCELLENT APARTMENT!!

All we can give is praise to Debra from the start of the booking process right to the end of the holiday she was always a pleasure to deal with. The whole experience was 5 star. What can we say about the view - that hasn't been said already- it is stunning!! (waking up at home and looking out of the window after the holiday certainly brings you back to earth with a bump!!
would be hard pressed to find better accommodation, This apartment wants for nothing!!
We loved the Isle of Wight and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a great Holiday destination for families. (We were two families travelling with 3 children). The icing on the cake was certainly the apartment!!

XMAS IN SHANKLIN

Four of us stayed in this Shanklin apartment for a week over Xmas 2013.
We selected it as two of our party are elderly, one having significant mobility issues. This apartment is one of the few that is on a single level with lift access. A disabled badge parking bay was available close to the entrance.
We found the apartment was wonderfully spacious with all the facilities advertised. In particular, the sea views gave a continuous focus of interest even though the weather was frequently poor. Although the space was large the environment had a comfortable warm feel. The decor is stylish.
As a man deeply interested in cooking, the kitchen area was practical and reasonably well equipped with plenty of pots and pans and ample crockery. If you are staying over Xmas don’t bring too big a turkey; the cooker is a standard domestic model. The fridge freezer is large; the dishwasher enormous.
It was a pleasure doing business with the owner; email communications answered promptly and in a positive manner.
If the IoW and/or Shanklin is on your list of places to stay this apartment should be very high on your consideration list.

FABULOUS MODERN APARTMENT WITH AMAZING VIEWS

Despite picking the only rainy week in September, the apartment was still a great place relax and enjoy the views (through the mist and rain!) The accomodation was clean and very comfortable with all the necessary equipment for a 'home from home' stay. Would love to return when the sun is shining to have a chance to enjoy the balcony a little more!

OK, so we did have amazing weather compared to last years visit ti IOW, but this apartment, really made our holiday! Holidaying with two kids and the in-laws is always going to be a challenge, but this spacious accommodation really is like staying in someone's home. It's so clean, comfortable and well equipped to a very high standard that all 6 of us loved our time there. On top of that you have the excellent location and stunning views. The only downside is its so nice, it just give you a bigger dose of post holiday blues!

The apartment is located next to Shanklin Old Village on the beautiful southern coast of the Isle of Wight. It forms part of a small block of luxury apartments on the cliff tops above Shanklin Chine. The apartment is SEA FRONT and provides amazing unimpeded open sea views across the whole of Sandown Bay to Culver Cliffs. The apartment is ideally located to access the beautiful beaches at Shanklin, Ventnor and Sandown. It is directly on the coastal path and is a 5 minutes walk to the beach via the cliff steps, or around 15 minutes walk if level access to the beach is required, or 5 minutes by car. It is also less than 5 minutes walk to historic Shanklin Old Village where you will find an array of pubs, restaurants and shops. The beautiful village of Godshill is nearby and all of the Island's fantastic attractions are easily accessed from this prime location.

A non-returnable 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. Balance is payable 6 weeks before the rental date. Payment can be made via internet bank transfer, or by cheque. A fully refundable £250 security deposit is also required with the final balance payment. Rates include end of stay cleaning, bedlinens and towels (excluding beach towels).
