3 Bedroom Beautiful House, Sleeps 6 Ideal for a Family Holiday

Our 3 bedroom house is fully equipped to provide the ultimate in self catering holidays. The kitchen has everything you will need, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. The bedrooms are located on the first floor with a large bathroom and a separate WC. Linen and towels are included in the price. The lounge is comfortable with plenty of seating, broadband and cable TV is also available. The spacious living area includes an open-plan kitchen-dining room which leads out to the 100ft private, south facing garden. The patio area has dining furniture to seat 6/8 people.

Depending on the time of year you book we the owners may be on hand in the studio should you need any assistance during your stay, although it is more likely that we will be away so our keyholder, a lovely neighbour will be on hand if you need any assistance or advice during your stay.

There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance, a list will be left at the property for you to consider. Brighton and London are two most recommended places to visit.

Brighton beach is 45 mins. Brighton is a treasure trove of things to do and places to go. It really is unique. From the stunning heritage of the Royal Pavilion, regency architecture and Victorian aquariums to the traditional seaside fun of the famous Brighton Pier and pebble beach.

Portsmouth Harbour - 1 hour drive. Visit the world famous historic ships at the home of the Royal Navy. Go aboard HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860 and see the Mary Rose Museum, or take a trip to the Isle of Wight.

Croydon, great shopping centre, 20 mins by bus.

Central London 25 mins, train.

Chessington World of Adventures 40 mins drive. (great for the children).

Thorpe Park 50 mins drive. (fantastic for the children)

Wisley Gardens 25 mins.

Hampton Court 45mins.

Godstone Farm & Playbarn : One of the best value days out in the country with lovely animals, wonderful scenery (indoors and out)-all aimed for under 9 year old.

Why Catherine chose Croydon

We choose this property in Coulsdon as its surrounded by green countyside, and the transport which is great. Very handy and easy to get into London, so we have the best of both worlds. It is also great for Gatwick airport which is only a 15/20 minute drive. We have buses that run everyday, every 15 minutes, so there is no waiting around.

What makes this house unique

We choose this property because it is situated on a corner plot and has a lovely large sunny private back garden, with no properties at the back....only trees. Also at the front of the house we have a lovely view of the green. The house also offered us off road parking for 2/3 cars, so there is no need to look for somewhere to park your car.

We spent a week at Fairdean and had a great time. There were 5 of us and the property met all of our needs. It is really well equipped, clean and it was like home from home . Kathy was really helpful with anything we needed.

The house is very convenient for the transport links, bus and trains. We had some lovely days out in London. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Anyone thinking about renting this property should do it!!

Great Vacation Rental!

We stayed here with a large group - our family of 2 adults and 5 children, with my sister and father. We were not crowded at all. It was a GREAT experience. We walked to local stores and pubs, used a rental car to get to more distant locations, and were able to do everything we wanted during our vacation. We went on day trips to Brighton Beach, London, and Stonehenge.

The beds were clean and comfortable with plenty of warm blankets and pillows. Wi-fi was very fast (faster than any hotel we have ever stayed in) and provided at no additional charge (unlike hotels). Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. Appliances and dishes were clean and in good working order. The home was very clean without clutter. Parking our rental car in the driveway was a plus. The TV had satellite, which was very convenient for the children. We had snow and very cold temperatures while we were there, and the heater worked wonderfully. Hot water not a problem either.

Kathy provided excellent communication and a very nice letter on our arrival helping us make the most of our trip. Bus stop directly in front of the home. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people. Would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable, clean (better) alternative to hotel for a nice England vacation.
