This great one bedroom flat is located on the second floor (no elevator) of a beautiful period building in Trastevere and offers well-proportioned living space with fresh modern décor. The original character has been preserved in the finish with the cotto tiles and the beam ceiling. It comprises a cosy living room with fireplace, dining area and sofa bed for two, small but fully equipped kitchen, double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and bathroom with shower. The amenities of the lively Piazza Trilussa are on the doorstep but the apartment is quiet because the windows face a quiet back road. The lovely interior and the perfect location makes it this apartment ideal for a romantic treat!

Otherwise, the taxi from the airport costs 40 Euro for each car to the center of Rome. The price is fixed, no matter how many persons and how many pieces of luggage.
Perfect location! Great nightlife right out your door.
We stayed for four nights. Wonderful amenities in the apartment and nearby. A very clean and comfortable accommodation. The owner and manager were extremely kind and helpful - they gave us some great restaurant and walking tour tips! It was the perfect location and neighborhood for all of our activities while in Rome. Easy to walk or take a taxi to the Vatican, Colosseum and many more destinations. We mostly walked. We loved Trastevere and would recommend this ideal apartment in this colorful neighborhood to anyone!
This apartment was perfect for our family of four's 3-day stay in Rome in mid-July. Modern and clean and in the heart of Trastevere with plenty of bars and restaurants all around and a short walk to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Venezia and buses to anywhere. We appreciated the A/C after long hot days walking through Rome. Nice to have free Wi-Fi too.
We had a very enjoyable stay with 2 adults and 2 children in this apartment conveniently located in lovely Trastevere, a lively and busy neighborhood with good access to the other parts of Central Rome, and pleasant service from the agency.
We recommend this apartment with some advice. My husband and I stayed at this apartment for three nights. It is on a busy cobbled stoned street with a lot of night life and about two blocks from the Ponte Sisto. The windows did a good job of blocking the noise. The long steep staircase to the 3rd floor may be a hinderance to anyone with mobility problems. Good shower with great water pressure and temperature. The apartment is exactly as pictured and was very clean with the exception of the sheets. I checked the sheets before going to bed the first night and they seemed fine but I woke up with a bug bite (which was not there the night before) so I pulled the sheets back completely to find that the top sheet was stained. I brought the sheets to the laundry mat. Also, the TV antennae was disconnected from the TV and it did not work even after reconnecting it - which was not a big deal since we weren't planning on watching TV. Lucrezia our contact was apologetic on both counts and said she would check with the cleaning people re the sheets. The internet ran out of data capacity which Lucrezia quickly restored. I would recommend staying here but checking the sheets (top and bottom completely) before accepting the keys.
Bijou flat in what must surely be the most charming quarter of this fascinating city. Just wandering around Trastevere was my favourite part. The one-person kitchen is great for throwing together a quick pasta meal or fixing the morning coffee. This district seems to be Party Central—the volume in the street can get pretty impressive—but the excellent double glazing keeps the sound down to a pleasant background murmur, and we were so tired after walking everywhere (and you can walk to all the key parts of Rome from here) that we were only woken up once by the noise, and then only briefly. I think it's all part of the charm. If you're a very, very light sleeper, just bring ear-plugs, or join the locals for a drink in one of the bars before going to bed. Great atmosphere!
There was a very minor issue with a leak in the bathroom while were there (modern plumbing, ancient building - make allowances) but the friendly Massimo is on the case. Not a problem.
Restaurant-wise, you're spoilt for choice. We particularly enjoyed the quality of Il Duca at the end of the street (about 50 yards away) but there are enough options within a 5-min walk to keep you busy for a fortnight.
"Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative?" Is the Pope a catholic? BTW, if you're a catholic, and even if you're not, the papal blessing on Wednesday mornings is an extraordinary experience. About 20 min walk to the Vatican. Arrive early! (Get your free tickets beforehand: vatican website).
"What did you dislike?" About this place, nothing. But one tip: if you're using a Roma Pass (good idea) buy a bus & tram map for €1.50. Not having a bus & tram map was a big problem on the first day, and - annoyingly - there isn't one in the Roma Pass pack. Trastevere isn't particularly well connected to the metro (subway), although it is connected to Fiumicino airport on the local "FR1" suburban railway.
In a nutshell: for a couple, or (as in our case) a couple plus one - i strongly recommend this place.
While Rome seduces with its extraordinary monuments, Trastevere captures the traveler's heart. It is the most authentic and characteristic District within the Historic Center, the perfect place to glimpse the old world while enjoying the lifestyle of today's Romans. Often described as Bohemian, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to the old, narrow, winding, cobblestone streets. Homes decorated with flower boxes and clinging ivy interlace with coffee bars, restaurants, and one-of-a-kind boutiques.
The apartment is located a few meters away from Piazza Trilussa and the amazing Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere. Thanks to its strategic location, you can reach within walking distance many astonishing places such as Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Imperial Forum, the Coliseum and Spanish Steps. Following the river Tiber for 10 minutes you may reach the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Passing through this magical place, senses are pleasantly awakened with every step.
