Beautiful house with stunning outside areas, A/C throughout, 4 bedrooms sleeps 8

Located in a quiet valley south of the village of Callian, this large neo-Provencal villa is surrounded by 5,000 m2 of land with beautiful old terraces. The grounds include a guesthouse — a remodelled old stone house that lies at a distance from the main house, making it ideal for sharing with friends.

The property has its own tennis court, and the surrounding area, which offers large flat spaces, is perfect for children.

There is a court and a charming summer kitchen with BBQ.

Pool is child friendly with low level at one end.

Shopping is only a 5-minute drive from the house, and the Lac St. Cassien, which is within walking distance, offers a wide range of water activities.

Lac St. Cassian offers rentals of paddleboats, canoes, rowing and fishing.

North of Callian in the Gorge du Verdon they offer white water rafting.

The coast is only 20-30 min drive away where you have both public and private beaches where you find rental places for windsurfers.

Golf : This is an ideal area for golfing. You can reach many golf courses within one-hour drive. The nearest golf courses are the two new courses at the Terre Blance only 10 minutes drive from the house. These golf courses are worth a visit. From the course you have fantastic views toward the villages and in the background the mountains. The domain de Terre Blance includes a Four Season Resort Hotel and you might even want to visit their magnificent restaurant La Faventia which was rewarded a Michelen star last year. Within another half hours drive you can reach the golf courses of St. Endreol in Le Muy, Grasse, Royal Mougins, The old course in Mandileu. This is really heaven for golfers.

Places to visit: There are many interesting places to visit in the area and nearby. The local perched villages are all worth a visit.

Many offer a typical market several times a week.

Visit the local farmers market for fresh vegetables and fruit. Taste the local olive oil.

The wine yards are not far away and it is easy to make a daytrip to visit some good wineries and taste the good local wine. Provence is especially known for its Rosé and if you haven't tried it you should during the hot summer it is fantastic.

The village of Callian is part of the Canton de Fayence which is located just west of Grasse and north west of Cannes. The canton de Fayence is an old area with villages dating back to year 1000. They were all founded by the Grimaldi family. There are five perched villages starting with Montauroux, Callian, Tourettes, Fayence and Seillans. The mountains in the north protect the area. To the south we have the Mediterranean sea. The views from the villages are stunning. There is the large lake Lac St. Cassian only 15 min drive. Here you can swim or rent boats. The town has a small marked and the local café. There are three restaurants all with good local food. There are many sights very close by. There is only 20 min drive to the coast with its beautiful beaches and bustling life. You can make excursions to St. Tropez and Monaco as well as Cannes. You can enjoy the quiet beautiful Provence as well as the fun of Coté d'Azur.
