Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday apartment in Covent Garden - Leicester Square
Hit the clubs using this apartment as your base, right on Leicester square
If you’re one of the world’s beautiful people, if you like to stay up late and throw shapes, then we’ve found your spiritual, and literal home. Leicester Square is party central, with cinemas, restaurants and clubs at every turn. Soho’s just steps away, Covent Garden right around the corner.
And directly opposite the tube, you’ll find a bright, modern flat where you can nurse your sore head and watch the world go by. Slickly simple, with some gorgeous feminine touches, if you think life’s too short for an early night, then come inside – you’re top of the guest list.
A political journalist, your host works in the world of twenty four hour news. Always ready to get into a cab, or a little black dress, she’s a mover and shaker with a healthy disdain for early nights. But don’t assume that this lady’s an intellectual lightweight. A bit of a political nerd, she’s as at home in Harvard and Oxford as she is central London.
For in the sitting room of this spacious flat, the windows face down onto one of London’s most exciting thoroughfares. The double glazing keeps things peaceful, but make sure you spend some time checking out the madness below. Marilyn M will keep a watchful eye on you as you nap on the large sofa, prepare a snack in the gleaming kitchen and eat at the glass dining table. And don’t miss the tiger who also came to tea…
The hall contains a selection of political artwork, and your host’s cool collection of party political conference press passes. The bathroom’s spotlessly up to date and loaded with White Company toiletries, while the bedroom’s airy and filled with sunshine, with a sleigh bed ready to whisk you to the land of nod.
Centre of the universe
Really, where else is there to be? So, you’ve got the clubs. You’ve got the restaurants and cinemas and bars and cafes. You’ve got Chinatown around the corner, and the theatres of Covent Garden just a handful of minutes from your front door. But don’t neglect the daylight hours. The shops of Oxford Street are within a brisk trot, the National Gallery’s only moments away, and if you need a little peace and quiet you’re not far from Green Park. You’re so central that you need never step onto a tube, but if you want to travel, you couldn’t be better connected.
