Just 10 minutes drive from the shores of Loch Ness, your holiday house situated in a very quiet village with quick access to lots of the highlights of the Highlands: Eileen Donan Castle, Isle of Skye, Urquahart Castle, historic village of Fort Augustus, mesmerizing West Coastal Trail, Glen Affric and much much more.
If you are looking for active holiday - you will enjoy numerous quiet and beautiful trails for walking and cycling, playing golf, fishing and even kayaking in the local river. From silk curtains and organic bedding to underfloor heating throughout, Above the Glen was designed to provide luxury SPA experience in the heart of last wilderness of Europe.
Built on the top of the hill amidst 600 acres of young pine forest, Above the Glen is situated away from the main village.
Our garden is unfenced and our guests often see red deer outside the window. Pine Martens, pheasants and rare black cocks are regular visitors.
Take a Jacuzzi after a long day filled with events and discoveries, enjoy the views from the comfort of the leather sofa, leave treats for birds and pine martens. Have an ideal Highlands holidays you have always dreamed of.

Me and my family spent 5 days in this cottage located in a very peaceful and unique place. The accommodation is fully equipped with all modern amenities and some additional extras as well for a truly luxurious holiday. Location is ideal for walks in a stupendous environment.
