If you are looking for a Spanish holiday self catering apartment providing first class facilities, then our property at Duquesa Suites will provide you with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The property offers great accommodation for 5 people with 2 bedrooms with the master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom with twin beds and a fold away bed and a shower room and toilet. The kitchen offers all the facilities you would want including oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge. The utility room provides a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The apartment has a large lounge area with beautifully furnished sofas and and television providing Sky TV and DVD. The property benefits being on the ground floor and great for families with small children or for people who want quick access to the pool area directly from the large sun terrace. The complex has 3 swimming pools and a children’s pool, kids playground area, BBQ area, Tennis Courts.

Opposite the complex is Duquesa Golf and Country Club with its beautiful 18 hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones.

The holiday home apartment has its own car parking space in the underground car park accessible by security gates. The complex is located close to Duquesa Marina with its café’s, bars and restaurants and interesting boutiques and close by is the beautiful beach of Duquesa.

The Marina offers so many beautiful attractions and facilities and you can even charter a boat for the day to go fishing or maybe a trip over to Morocco! Next door to the complex is Monte Duquesa with its shops, restaurants and facilities.

The Costa del Sol offers so many attractions for a great holiday regardless what time of year you visit. The property is located in Duquesa between Estepona and Sotogrande and within a 15 minute drive you are in Puerto Banus and Marbella or in the other direction you could take a 25 minute drive to explore Gibraltar and the many attractions that Gibraltar has to offer including the caves and monkeys!

Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

The property was spacious clean and well maintained. The large patio was perfect for outside dining.
All equipment worked perfectly, washer , dishwasher etc...
Pool areas were clean and not overly crowded.
Duquesa port had a wide range of restaurants and bars with a great vibrant atmosphere in the evenings.
We are looking to return there next year.

Fantastic Apartment

Great spot, La Duquesa is a fantastic little place with great restaurants and bars. Within easy striking distance of things for the family to do (Gibraltar, the zoo and the beach). The apartment was clean and well equipped for our family of 5. We went in mid April and even though the pool was cold, it didn't stop our kids swimming around. La Duquesa port itself is a 15 minute stroll down the hill.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hopefully be back again.

Never again

We stayed here for two weeks it was disappointing as Manilva has nothing to do or to see.
Restaurants, bars and shops are at least 25 minutes away from the complex, walking and it is not an nice
walk. The beaches are with stones and sand so no sandy beaches at all.
It is not touristic at all so if you are looking for a nice place with restaurants and shops around the corner
You are at the wrong location. The harbor is nice but after two weeks you have seen it all even after one evening to be honest
You definitely need a car otherwise you are lost, you are on a hill and to get your groceries back to the apartment it is a climb
especially in the heat of the day!

The property could use some construction as it is very old. The apartment it self’s was ok
Although television was not working, air-condition made a lot of noise and also very disturbing were the dogs that were waking you up
these dogs belongs to other people in the building. The app was very noisy. The patio is not made for small children as the tiles were loose
and you could easily hurt yourself. The sun beds at the patio are so old that you could not use them.
The sun beds at the pool are ok.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately this family treated the property very badly and damaged some of the furniture and hence when the damage deposit was questioned they reacted very negatively including writing feedback which is totally unjustified from start to finish! The property was build 10 years ago which I would not say is classed as old?

If they were looking for lots of kids amusements then they should have gone to Disneyland as Manilva is a typical Spanish holiday resort.

I would never agree to rent to these people again, they were very difficult to deal with from the moment they booked, they were very demanding and would never be happy even in a 5 star hotel!
