The recently extended and refurbished sandstone cottage stands alone on a quiet country road surrounded by half an acre of garden with delightful views towards The Lake District, Pennines and Greystoke Castle.

The cottage can sleep 10 people comfortably, the four bedrooms sleep 10 people with the option of 2 people using the sofa bed found in the sitting room.

The cottage is situated on the edge of Greystoke Village and is a stones throw from the imposing Greystoke Castle. The cottage is situated on the edge of The Lake District National Park and is within five minutes walking distance from Greystoke Village which offers a well stocked shop and post office, pub, Church and outdoor heated swimming pool.

Ullswater [6 Miles], Keswick, Borrowdale and Bassenthwaite [13 Miles] and Penrith [5 Miles] are all within easy reach, the cottage is also 5 minutes from the M6 and the West Coast Main Line Railway with regular services from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and London.

The family run Greystoke Cycle Cafe offers lovely food & an inspiring selection of Workshops and carefully selected tutors, often nationally renowned.

The Village Shop: Greystoke has an excellent shop/post office in the center of the village.

Supermarkets: Penrith [Sainsbury's, Booth's, Morrison's, Co-op, Aldi] and Keswick. [Booth's, The Lakes, Co-op]

Every other shop in Keswick sells outdoor gear!

The cottage is situated on the edge of The Lake District National Park and is within five minutes walking distance from Greystoke Village which offers a well stocked shop and post office, pub, Church and outdoor heated swimming pool.

Greystoke is a pleasant village with 17th century cottages, many with cobbled forecourts, about 4 miles west of Penrith. It is on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park, and retains its village green with its ancient market cross that dates back at least to the early 1600's.
