2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 comfortably, 6 using bed settees. Pool, parking, garden.

This is a very quiet and tranquil gated residence, where you can expect to relax. There is little noise after 10pm, and residents and guests are expected to respect this.

Being on the ground floor this apartment is intrinsically cooler than upper floors, and whilst we have portable air conditioning units we find the through breeze pleasant, and keeps the apartment cool even on very hot days. There are also several fans which help to keep air circulating.

The lounge is light, airy and spacious. There are two bed-settees, television (with some UK channels via Internet TV), DVD player and Stereo.

There's plenty of room to eat at the dining table (seats 6) on the odd occasion when you want to eat indoors, but we think you'll be more than tempted to eat 'al fresco' either on the covered terrace, or in the garden itself.

The kitchen is, we believe, equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. 4 ring hob, built under oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave - the lot.

Both bedrooms are equipped with twin beds that can also be made up as either king sized beds, left as singles, or indeed, two singles one king size. The choice is yours.

There is a bathroom, comprising bath, basin and WC, a separate shower room with shower and wash basin, and a second separate WC.

An oasis of tranquillity. Situated on av Jean de-Lattre-de Tassigny, the residence is surrounded by well maintained gardens, has a communal pool, and designated parking bays.

It is far enough from the hustle and bustle of the town centre to be able to relax, but near enough that you can walk to the centre of town, la Croisette, the Port or the old town in about 15 minutes.

There you can drink in the same bars as the greats of the movie world, eat in the same restaurants as the chic millionaire set whose yachts grace the Marina, or simply take in the sights and chill out on the beach.

Also you will not be far away from the main routes inland. Nice with its famous markets, museums and architecture is just a half hours drive, or you can take the train from the railway station (15 minutes walk or accessed by the bus which stops, literally, by the gate to the residence.

For unforgettable days out take a drive into the mountains and the Gorges de Verdon - a couple of hours of breathtaking scenery. Also the spectacular Goges du Daluis and Cians en route to Valberg via the walled medieval village of Entravaux, and many other medieval Perched Villages.

There are also boat trips to St Tropez and the Isles de Lerin from the harbour (Le Suquet) in Cannes. Not a long walk, and also accessible by the bus which stops next to the gates of the residence.
