Overview

Photos and Description of this 5 bedroom holiday cottage in Honiton - Millhayes

Four-bedroom property with one-bedroom annexe, sleeping 9 in total

Millhayes has two good-sized living rooms - the family room has large sofas and flat screen TV and the sitting room has a wood burning stove, large sofa and armchairs, sound system and has a more traditional feel. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and opens onto a stunning conservatory dining area with full-length windows on three sides giving spectacular views across the garden and valley beyond. The four bedrooms in the house are beautifully furnished and have lovely views. The bathroom and shower room are luxuriously fitted out. The thatched annexe is ideal for anyone who would like a little extra privacy or seclusion. It has a spacious bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, TV, DVD and tea and coffee making facilities. An en suite shower room completes this self-contained eerie!

The garden is about an acre in size with terraces and lawned areas near the house; plenty of secluded spots to sit and read, admire the views, or just do nothing!

Fabulous countryside for walking and we are also happy to accept well-behaved dogs!

wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time at millhayes, a real country cottage feel. Beautiful views from every window. We loved the dining room and the fact it had two lounges. Very well equipped and comfortable and a lovley welcome basket and fresh flowers were a good touch. Lots of pretty places to see nearby, Branscombe villiage was lovely and Ladram bay and Lyme Regis worth a visit.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

We booked the cottage as a surprise family get together for my mother in law's 70th birthday. We were so pleased to find that the cottage was everything we'd hoped for and more! The welcome hamper was extremely generous, the accommodation was fantastically refurbished and spacious enough for 6 adults & 3 children. The cottage was brilliantly equipped and the wood burner was a real bonus for a pre-Christmas break! Although we didn't use the gardens as such, they were beautifully kept and the location was amazing. A perfect long weekend! Thank you.

Beautiful place inside and out

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautifully maintained with a large, pretty garden. The rooms have been restored to a very high standard whilst keeping period features. The kitchen will cope with a large party and is extremely well equipped.

The area is pretty and secluded yet close enough to transport links to make ideal for short breaks.

Beautiful Quiet Thatched Cottage in Devon

  • 5 of 5

House was beautifully presented, clean and tidy with immaculate gardens.

The location near Honiton is good, with the Jurassic coast about 30 mins drive, plus several other National trust properties and gardens within 30 mins drive.

The house had two large lounges both with sky tv and a a large selection of DVD's so large groups could split up and have some space.
