90m2 apartment, 2 bedrooms, 25m2 garden, children, 10 minutes from airport

Situated in the ground floor of a lovely, restored, 19th century building covered with beautiful green glazed traditional tiles (azulejos), next to the financial, business and shopping zone of Saldanha with easy access by car, it is ideal families with children and pets that wish to visit Lisbon's tourist attractions or for businessmen and professors that work in the firms or universities close by.

Recently restored and fully equipped with cable TV and Wifi Internet broadband access, the apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a private bathroom, and another with 2 single beds, that can be joined to form another double bed. Both the suite and the main bathroom have bath/shower.

The sitting/dinning room has 3 large windows and receives lovely Jacaranda-filtered sunlight. In the back of the apartment there is a nice decked garden with small Papaya and Anona trees and several other plants, ideal for a drink by the end of the day or for children or pets to play safely.

Great for family

We spend 4 days in this apartment. The owner is exceptional. our flight was one day late and he offered us not to paid the day we lost. The apartment is near the metro to go in the historic Lisbon, it take 20 minutes and just in front of a grocery store. The apartment is very clean and with a lot of space. You have all the amenities you need and the street is very quiet and safe. thank you for the lovely time we spent.

Delightful apartment

The apartment is very clean, spacious, well proportioned and conveniently located for bus and metro. The photos are accurate, although the closet/cupboard in the hall is larger that the photo suggests and provides ample storage for bags etc.
The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable.
The small garden is great for sitting out/dining; the new dining chairs (not shown in photo) are very comfortable.
Louis went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay and we would be very happy to stay here again.

un appartement tres pratique s d b 2 cha 2 tout le confort et un joli petit jardin tres propre bien situé sans bruit prohe transports accueil tres agreable malgré notre retard (3h) a 2h du matin avec the et patisserie recommandons cette adresse et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir merci luis

nuestra experiencia en casa de Luis ha sido inmejorable. La casa es tal como muestran las fotos. Muy amplia y recientemente renovada.
Luis fue muy agradable al darnos mapas e indicaciones de como movernos.
La terraza, una monada, lástima que no pudiéramos aprovecharla más.
En cuanto a localización, a pie al centro, un paseo de unos 20-25 minutos, la vuelta algo más... las cuestas de Lisboa se notan.. de todas formas hay metro cercano.
Conclusión, sin duda repetiríamos, ah y es de agradecer que siendo la final de la champions league no se aprovechara en el precio...cosa que hicieron muchos otros.

Nos parece apenas que vuestra estancia de 2 días ha sido corta para conocer la ciudad, sus alrededores, Sintra, Queluz, Estoril e las playas... cuando volveréis por unos días mas? ;D

Good location, friendly hosts, anytime again!

The appartment is located not too far away from the center even for walking. But there is a metro station few minutes to walk, which makes it more convenient. In general a very nice place to stay. The kitchen is well equiped so that we didn't missed anything. However, it should be mentioned that it is not an appartment for couch potatoes who needs a extra large TV and want to spend much time inside.
Special thanks to the hosts! Very smart, unkomplex, very helpful, with good tips for Lisbon and surroundings.

Welcoming apartment in a convenient location

This apartment is clean, spacious and well cared-for. It is furnished more like a home than like a typical rental apartment. Being able to look out on both the street in front and the garden in back made it feel especially comfortable and open.

There are several restaurants, markets and shops nearby, but it was also very quiet at night for sleeping. The location is quite convenient with a bus stop at the corner and all 4 metro lines available within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Within walking distance you can visit the Gulbenkian Museum, the Edward VII Park, Marques de Pombal and the Avenida da Liberdade. The downtown zone (Chiado, Rossio, Rua Augusta, Terreiro do Paco and the old neighborhoods of Alfama, Bairro Alto and Castelo de S. Jorge) are just 5 minutes away by metro. You can easily go to Belém and Mosteiro dos Jeronimos zone using the hop-on hop-off buses from Saldanha and the Parque das Naçoes and Oceanario zone with the red line of the metro.
