Nous avons apprécié le confort de la maison, spacieuse pour 6 personnes. L'équipement est complet, avec lave - linge et sèche - linge.
L'endroit est très calme et bien situé pour les visites autour de Fort William.
Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location, d'autant plus que le tarif est raisonnable et qu'il nous a été possible de régler en euros. De plus, il n'y a pas de caution de perçue ce qui simplifie les modalités de paiement.

EXCELLENT HIGHLAND GETAWAY

I picked this property to spend an extended weekend with the family based on it's location, knowing that it's a quiet area near to Ben Nevis, but not in a "tourist heavy" location, the peace and quiet was a welcome relief.

The pictures don't do the house justice, it was very spacious, well furnished and in impeccable condition. There were user guides for all appliances, wi-fi, and plenty of books and guides related to the area, outdoors activities, etc. Nevis Range and Glen/Ben Nevis are both within short driving distance so is a great base location for anyone intended to climb munros (and we did).

I would heartily recommend this house and look forward to returning there in the future for a longer stay. I would like to thank Nathalie for allowing us to stay in her lovely home.

SUPERBE MAISON DANS UN ENDROIT MERVEILLEUX !!!

Nous avons été enchanté par notre séjour à Spean Bridge, dans cette superbe maison, où nous nous sommes sentis mieux que chez nous car tout est prévu pour le bien-être des hôtes ! Si toutes les maisons de vacances en France étaient comme celle-ci, ce serait merveilleux... De plus, la maison est située dans un environnement calme avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes. Cette maison est idéale pour les familles avec enfants, il y a des jeux de sociétés, un grand jardin, un parc de jeux pas très loin de la maison, mes enfants ont adoré ! Dans le coin, on peut faire de superbes randonnées (Ben Nevis Range, Glencoe...) et on est proche des lochs. Nous n'avons qu'une hâte : revenir !

PERFECTLY EQUIPPED, VERY COMFORTABLE, LOVELY VIEWS

What a lovely house! Very comfortable for our party of 6 people from three generations. Easy to organize with the owner and a warm welcome upon arrival. The house had everything we could want (including enticing shelves of books and movies) and we were very comfortable cooking for ourselves in the well-equipped kitchen. Our boys (7 and 9) loved running around in the garden after days of sightseeing. The kind of visit that has us thinking about when we can come back again.

WONDERFUL DETACHED HOUSE IN A GREAT LOCATION

Had a great stay here in winter with loads of space, great open plan living room and kitchen, beautiful gardens and warm heating. The bedrooms are all large and the house fitted with modern high quality appliances and furniture throughout, whilst keeping a cottage atmosphere. Wonderful views of the nearby ski slopes with easy access to the central highlands, with excellent walks nearby to beautiful white sand beaches and the mountains and glens. A very helpful owner who kept great communication whenever we wanted it.

Welcome to Taigh A'Chaorainn ('Rowan Tree House' in Gaelic) an ideal holiday destination in the Highlands of Scotland, 10 miles from Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK. We are close to Loch Ness, Ben Nevis and the Cairngorms. The Caledonian Canal is a stone's throw away. The house is a great base from which to go walking/hiking, birdwatching, fishing, play golf, and try some water sports. Skiing in winter.

  • All the beds, mattresses and furniture in the rooms on the 1st floor were bought in 2011. The furniture in the master bedroom on the ground floor is from 2011. All the bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes and chests of drawers. All bedlinen (sheets and duvet covers) and towels (1 bath towel and and 1 smaller one) provided. All the duvets atre anti-allergenic. Lots of teatowels in the kitchen. Parquet floor in the master bedroom, carpets in the others. Sofa-bed (for 1 person) in the living room.
