Close by is the beautiful National Trust property of Cotehele, with views from the gardens over the Tamar Valley and the pretty town of Calstock. Slightly further afield and near to the town of St Austell are the lost gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Plymouth, which lies to the south, can be reached by train on the Tamar Valley line. Guestbook comments from the owner
We have had a wonderful week in the lodge and have enjoyed beautiful Devon and Cornwall. I am always sad to leave the SouthWest as there is so much more I would love to see.
So yes, we would love to go back sometime.
Thanks for a great week in your house.
