Airy and bright living space with high ceilings, quiet and peaceful setting, with just 17 apartments converted from a large, listed building. Daily attendance of caretaker ensures the property is well looked after and that swimming pool, boles court, tennis court and extensive landscaped grounds are well maintained.

Apartment contains linens, tennis racket, well equipped kitchen etc all you need are your holiday clothes.

Great location, very comfortable stay

We found the flat extremely comfortable and the chateau and its ground very enjoyable. Everything we needed to make us feel at home was provided, and the countryside around was well worth exploring. A great base for Haute Provence!

PERFECT HAUTE PROVENCE HOLIDAY

Comfortable clean flat in beautiful chateau. Lovely well maintained garden with large swimming pool. Owners of other flats very friendly. Local restaurant with good food 5 minutes walk from chateau. During week enjoyed visits to Sainte Croix de Verdon, Riez market, Moustieres Sainte Maria and other interesting places. Would recommend to friends and relatives.

We stayed for 4 nights, and it was a perfect getaway. Beautiful walks, the rustic local restaurant and sitting in the French sunshine on Easter weekend. The accommodation was simple, clean and fresh.

Fabulous holiday home in the heart of Provence.

My wife and I stayed here in October 2011. This Chateaux has loads of charm and character and is just perfect for a romantic get-away. If you are looking for privacy and relaxation in the grand French tradition this place has it all. Cocktails by the pool after a perfect day of exploring the countryside by bicycle or trips to local villages for genuine market fare. We hated to leave. Kudos to Durell for rmaking this the best holiday ever. All of the conveniences of home but without the drill of a hotel. If you want to really enjoy a holiday your way this is the place!

A lovely apartment within a fantastic setting at Chateau St-Laurent.

We had a fabulous stay at Chateau St-Laurent in October 2014 and would highly recommend it. Within the beautifully maintained grounds of the Chateau is a lovely pool area and tennis court - the photographs really don’t do it justice!

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There are scenic walks or cycle rides to the lake from the door, and a variety of local picturesque villages are only a short car journey for markets, cafés and restaurants.

A quiet village in a national park, on the lakeside of the Gorge du Verdon, unspoilt beauty surrounded by lavender fields , sunflowers and vineyards. Views of the mountains, rolling countryside and the dramatic and beautiful Gorge - Europe's Grand Canyon. Uncrowded lake side beaches, local provencal markets, small hillside towns and plenty of fine dining make this area a never ending discovery of pleasure, tranquility and delights. Easy access to Nice and Marsailles, Aix-en-Provence is an hour away and Avignon a delightful drive through exquisite Vaucluse / Luberon countryside. Sailing, hiking, rafting, horse riding, cycling, and many outdoor activities are nearby , whilst at the Chateau are boles, tennis court and a secluded swimming pool. Aups, Reiz, Tourtour, Regusse, Manosque, Greoux, Moustier Ste Maire, and Esparron are all close by.
