Professional owners, who make your stay comfortable, personal, unique. The owners put love in Villa Nemus, and you feel this from the moment you arrive.
Fiskardo is a wonderful location, and Kefalonia is a dream island full of surprises. A must visit for "sea lovers".
Villa Nemus is a perfect hideaway for couples, with an amazing view of the sea (and the sunsets!), romantic in all. Very near to Fiskardo and to so many wonderful beaches!
The overall experience in Villa Nemus was outstanding (and we have traveled in many locations in the world to say this).
This villa is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos, indeed the minute you open the gate and see it your cares just melt away. When you open your shutters in the morning you have an unobstructed vista of the sparkling sea and, with a perfect view of the magnificent sunset from almost anywhere you are - pool, house, garden - and a very well equipped kitchen to rustle up a sundowner, the day is perfect from beginning to end. Claire and Nick, who manage the property, are lovely people and very generous with the produce from their organic garden; they often popped in with an exquisite Greek dish Claire had cooked for us to enjoy – which we certainly did! Georgia is very helpful and makes the booking process simple and efficient. The kind and generous spirit of this family is reflected in the care given to both the villa and guests. When you add all this to the lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and gorgeous garden set in an exquisite environment, what more could you ask for? You really do have everything here – beautiful accommodation, tranquil setting, traditional village within walking distance, tavernas on the beach a short drive away and Fiscardo nearby. I highly recommend a stay here.
An idyllic place, beautiful surroundings and really lovely hosts. The villa itself is truly stunning and makes you feel relaxed and tranquil and the views are fantastic (especially when watching the sunset). We stayed for 10 nights but could have easily never have left! In fact we would like to book again for this year :) Do not hesitate in booking this villa you will not be disappointed in any way, Kefalonia is by far one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited and has the most scrumptious food!

The most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked 2 weeks. We'll definitely be back though! Sitting next to the pool with a glass of wine, overlooking the sea, made every evening a complete switch off. We used the car to visit other places, all of which were very beautiful, but coming back 'home' in the evening was the best part! This is a very well thought out and comfortable villa, (detailed to perfection) in a stunningly peaceful and unspoiled location, combined with top notch and discreet service by Claire and Nick. This really is paradise on earth. Heartily recommend to anyone (small families, couples, honeymooners….)
Me and my wife stayed 7 marvellous nights in this beautiful restored traditional stone house. We loved everything of the house. It is located in a very small and quiet place in the north of the island near the famous port of Fiscardo. A very good starting point to discover this big island if you like to travel like I do. Inside, the house has been perfectly restored and furnished with taste. The bathroom, kitchen, bed, air conditioning, etc ...are of a high quality and very confortable. Outside the garden is very nice in the morning and magic in the night. We specially loved the chill out inside the ruins of an old stone house. The pool area is also very nice with the olive tree and the sea views. We loved so much the place that we decided to stay two days in the house instead to travel around the island. The owners: Nick, Claire and Georgia (although I did not meet her) are the perfect hosts. Nick and Claire welcome us and gave us very good advises about where to go and where to eat (also, the advises from other guests were very useful). The first day they cooked lunch for us and some other days breakfast with organic products. Nick has a beautiful organic garden that I know he share with their guests. Unfortunately, this time he could not share the fantastic tomatoes with us because of a plague. In conclusion, a perfect house for a couple to relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Kefalonia. I hope we will be back in the near future. Thank you Nick, Claire and Georgia for your hospitality!!!
We can't say enough good things about Villa Nemus, it's owners and Kefalonia island.
Georgia and her mum, Claire, have done an excellent job of restoring this former mill into a beautiful villa with high spec furnishings. It is an example of luxury shabby chic at its best. Equipped with air con, luxury furniture, SMEG kitchen appliances, safe, wide screen tv/DVD, we really couldn't have asked for more. The swimming pool with remote control colours, the range of comfy seating amid the ruins of the outbuildings and having fresh vegetables on tap each day are just fantastic extra touches and provide more examples of the care and attention which Georgia and her family have put into owning and managing this property.
From making our initial enquiries, Georgia has not only been extremely professional answering all our questions swiftly but provided reassurance that we would be well looked after.
Nothing is too much trouble for Claire and husband Nik, who help Georgia with the day to day running of the property. They wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. Nik provided us with an array of vegetables from his organic garden and Claire often popped round with some of her fantastic cooking.
Thank you Claire, Nik and Georgia for a wonderful holiday.
Kefalonia is the island of 'contrasts' and one of the most picturesque and popular island of Greece. Kefalonia is known for its wonderful beaches with the turquoise waters and the impressive surroundings. At just 4km from the villa the picturesque port of Fiscardo is located. Fiscardo, according to the tradition, took it's name from the pirate Robert Guiscard who conquered the village in the 11th century. It is acclaimed as the only village on Kefalonia that escaped the ravages of the 1953 earthquake. It still maintains the traditional architecture of the Ionian islands and has been declared as a protected village. The port of Fiscardo connects with the port of Ithaca and Lefkada.
Fiscardo is considered as a cosmopolitan tourist destination.
