In the historical center of Venice, close to San Marco Square and the Biennale Garden, inside the magical web of streets that connect Riva degli Schiavoni to Arsenal, you find 'Al Pestrin', your home in Venice. It is equipped with internet wi-fi. It has a fully equipped kitchen, living room with sofa/bed and pouf/bed, bathroom with tub, washer and dryer, double bedroom, single bedroom with extra bed. Al Pestrin is well served by supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, shops, banks, baccari (the typical Venetian bars) etc. It is a delightful apartment, bright because it is the 3 rd floor (no elevator), and from its windows you can enjoy a splendid view of the altane, terraces built wooden blinds on the roofs.

It was the apartment in which my husband lived before marriage.
It 's very bright and very close to Piazza San Marco and the Biennale Gardens. In the morning and in the evening, you can watch the magnificent spectacle of sunrise and sunset along the Riva degli Schiavoni, with the sun rising from the east and sets in the west reflecting on the water of the lagoon.
We were a family of 5 and had a very happy stay at the apartment. Claudia provided copious helpful maps to find the apartment and to find all the local facilities which was much appreciated. We found a very good local pizza take away which was a bonus.
The location was perfect, authenic as a little off the main tourist trail, but easily accessible from the Arsenale vapouretta stop.
We were able to walk everywhere and when we wanted to go further a field like Burano catch the boat. It was interesting to see the Arsenale and on the last day we left our bags in the apartment and went to the Naval museum, we then collected everything and went to the airport.
We were able to cook in the kitchen which as a family of 5 was convenient. I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family
As a family of five, finding comfortable and affordable accommodations in Europe for our recent trip was a challenge. Claudia's apartment was sufficiently spacious, clean, bright, and very reasonably priced. Located in a slightly quieter part of the island, it was still conveniently close to tourist sites, restaurants, vaporetto stops and the grocery store. Claudia was extremely pleasant to deal with and provided lots of information prior to our arrival that helped us plan a very memorable stay. The kitchen was well equipped and having air conditioning and wifi was a big plus. Molto grazie, Claudia. A la prossima volta!
My husband , myself and adult son stayed here June 9th -14th. The location was superb and the apartment lovely and well stocked with decent kitchen wares.It was extremely hot when we visited so the air conditioning was a blessing for us. The beds and linens were of good quality and comfortable. WiFi was excellent. I would give it 5 stars except that the water pressure in the shower was very low and the hot water came and went so blasts of cold then hot again. All in all very good value and so homey. I would definitely stay again .
Great location and easy to find from the vaporetto. Spacious, bright and cheerful apartment. 4th floor--no elevator. Low water pressure for showers. No extra toilet paper or dish soap but grocery store was conveniently located nearby, as were some great restaurants.
We had an excellent 4 night stay in this apartment and I would thoroughly recommend it to others. The apartment was warm and welcoming to return to after our days exploring beautiful Venice as well as being clean, comfortable and spacious. Its location was perfect for us, being very close to the Arsenale stop for getting to and from the airport. There are some lovely local cafés, restaurants and shops close by (including a couple of supermarkets) yet is also a very easy walking distance from St Mark's Square. Claudia gave us lots of useful information prior to the trip and was in touch during our stay to check everything was OK. Whilst she wasn't able to meet us on arrival, the handover with a neighbour was very easy. Thank you Claudia!
We did not meet with Claudia, while he was traveling, but we got the key from her friend and Claudia was always available whenever I have contacted her, and she has given us a lot of very interesting informations about the town. We were pleased to find a clean apartment, fully furnished, well equipped kitchen, with glasses, plates etc. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants near the apartment, good area, quiet, a short walk from the city center (Piazza San Marco). The apartment is of a good standard. I would definitely agree with the term 'friendly'. I would be happy to stay here again every time I want to travel to Venice.
Central but quiet, because in a street outside the noisy of domestic tourists, the apartment is located in one of the oldest area of Venice, where you meet venetians more than tourists. If you walk along Riva degli Schiavoni, fantastic when the lagoon is illuminated by the morning sun, and go to the Gardens of the Biennale, encounters the picturesque Via Garibaldi, very Venetian and unknown to the mass tourism, , which is typical for its restorants, its local market and the oldest fish shops. I advise you to have breakfast there in one of its many cafes. However, if you go to Piazza San Marco (you reach really in 10 minutes), you immerse yourself in the best-known Venice which needs no introduction. If you try an alternative way to visit the city, you can miss you inside the labyrinth of quiet and peaceful calli (streets) wandering aimlessly: every corner reserves a surprise. If you fear this adventurous lightness, you can follow your guide. Fortunately, no guide will protect you from the possibility of losing you, and if it happens, you should support it.
