|Minimum Stay||3 - 7 nights|
Enjoy the sun drenched days of Negril on a two acre beach front estate offering uncompromised privacy with its two private beaches where swimsuits are optional. Only the hotel crowds are missing and the planned daily activities of resorts.
The villa is rented in one-week minimum increments, Saturday-Saturday, in the high season (15 November-15 April) with a three-night minimum during the summer and fall seasons (15 April-15 Nov). The exception is the week spanning Jamaican's Independence and Emancipation holidays 1 and 6 August as well as Thanksgiving, for which the villa is rented at full capacity for one-week minimum duration.
Hotels could not provide more personable service than our staff of eight, which includes housekeepers, cooks, gardeners and security from dusk to dawn.
The staff provides 24 hour service and security every day of the week. A household guide is available in all the rooms at the house and can be printed from the web site. It requires an Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Resorts and hotels have long lines or require reservations for meals at specified times. Not here. Breakfast at 11 AM, lunch at 4 PM or dinner at 9 PM , no problem. Our staff will prepare legendary Jamaican cuisine while you enjoy the comfort and security of a large private estate.
With its four bedrooms and guest cottage, this villa/beachhouse will accommodate groups and families up to twelve for the vacation of a lifetime. There are two master bedrooms downstairs each with a four poster, full-size bed under a canopy of mosquito netting. Each bathroom opens onto an outdoor shower for rinsing off after swimming. Upstairs there's a king bed and three twin beds in adjoining rooms sharing one central bathroom; if necessary, the king size bed can be broken down into two twin beds. There is a back staircase which can be used as a separate entrance especially after swimming. There are room safes in the main house and the cottage. We also have a child's daybed, crib and two playpens.
With its vaulted living room ceiling the villa will resonate on a stereo system transforming it into an instrument itself. We have recently installed a 37' flat panel HD TV with local cable service. Internet access (DSL and Wi-Fi) and fax will keep you connected to the world if that is your need. If you have Itunes on your laptop you will be able to connect to the stereo system through Airport Express, otherwise there is a cable connected to the amplifier to which you can connect a MP3 player.
Shaded by centuries old cotton trees (kapok), almond and sea grape trees, the broad expanse of the lawns and beaches makes an ideal setting for a wedding in Jamaica. The seawall jutting into the sea is flanked by two beaches. Dining on the seawall for any meal of the day could be habit forming. Hammocks are all about the property and reflect an age old tradition in the Caribbean.
The tennis court has recently been converted back to its original grass surface. Please contact us if you want the availability of a tennis professional; we will do our best to provide one for you. We also have a ping pong table, horseshoes and a croquet set. There are also the traditional board games.
The Negril Hills Golf Club is just five minutes from the property by taxi.
There are hammocks and benches scattered throughout the property. The word hammock is an Arawak Indian word, so are the words tobacco, barbecue and canoe. What a life! Thank you, Tom Robbins in Even Cowgirls Get the Blues for that little bit of linguistic history.
Negril has been called the Reggae capital of the world with a different live show every night. All the venues are within short walking or driving distances. Some guests have even enjoyed the shows sitting on the sea wall around a bonfire listening to the music as it bounces off the water from venues a mile away! As a result of a strong lobbying effort, the shows are now required to end at 1:00 AM in respect for those who would rather listen to the waves and the more natural sounds of the night.
There are small patch reefs, coral gardens and caves surrounding the property along a thousand feet of sea front. We provide snorkeling gear at no extra cost to appreciate this marine world. Four sea kayaks which are available to the guests, also, at no extra cost. The kayaks can be rigged for one or two persons and carry an anchor and line for snorkeling either along the cliffs or out on Long Bay among the numerous patch reefs.
The personal workout center is on the veranda overlooking the sea.
For the land lubber who is not so adventurous, there is a turtle pond with three loggerhead turtles to feed and pet. These were given by local fishermen to keep them out of someone else's stew pot.
Airport transfers and excursions are available. The rate for transport between Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and Llantrissant Beachcliff Villa in Negril is USD 100 for up to four guests, USD 25 for each additional guest thereafter.

We are thrilled we chose the Llantrisant location to host our memorable wedding with our loved ones and cannot recommend this place enough to anyone we know considering vacationing in Jamaica and/or hosting a destination wedding or event for themselves, as this truly was that way to go. Both my husband and I work within the hospitality industry of hotels and restaurants and from our experience, creating a personal event unique to our personalities and taste is exactly what we were able to achieve at Llantrisant, rather than the generic, typical resort wedding styles we saw all over the internet for most people that choose their destination wedding in Jamaica.
Llantrissant's rustic and well maintained historic estate was a romantic and practical location we spent 1 week at with 10 of our closest friends in addition to being the location our wedding was hosted at. Being that the grounds have 2 private beaches, manicured landscaping, a large grass/sand backyard and 24 our security of the enclosed property, this was a stellar location to hold our intimate 30 guest wedding outside with the ocean as our background.
The staff prepared local food and was helpful in recommending vendors for all of our providers for lighting, music, flowers, etc.
If you are looking for a memorable, rustic and "non-cookie cutter" Jamaican experience, choose Llantrisant and not another Sandals resort. Support a small business that will provide a much more authentic experience while visiting Jamaica.
First of all, having your own private beach is as fabulous as a vacation gets! Where else could you have complete access to water sports including paddle boards and kayaking? In addition, we had access to snorkeling. To relax you could also lay in the hammock in front of the gorgeous view of the water.
The property is well maintained with some of the softest grass our feet have ever stepped on! Another beautiful natural wonder that gives the property it's charm were the magnificent Kapok trees. They complemented the elegant beach house.
The food was great with personable chefs that cooked traditional Jamaican yet customized to our needs. We had delectable lobster, great jerk chicken and our personal favorite curry octopus and whelks! The staff were very kind and hospitable making us feel at home.
We can't wait to go back! :-)

Thank-you Llantrissant Beach Villa!
My family and I just returned from Llantrissant Beach Villa; I had the best vacation that I have had in years. The property location is in the heart of Negril, Jamaica, of all places, right.
As the gates opened onto the Villa's property, all that I could think of was that I just walked into paradise. The estate ground were beautiful with flowers, towering trees surrounding a quaint, yet grand, island home, with two private beaches, white sand and the most crystal blue sea water that I have ever seen.
And if that wasn't enough, we were greeted everyday by the smiling faces of the beautiful people who worked very hard on the property to making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. It was truly home for eight days!
Our very talented Chefs, Paulette and Anne prepared home-cooked traditional Jamaican dishes that were tailored to our tastes. The food was outstanding all meals were served on a beautiful lanai that looked out over the sea! Our traditional Jamaican "mosquito-netted" beds were made daily and bathrooms were cleaned and dressed with fresh towels. The decor in the villa consisted of invaluable antiques sprinkled among vibrant colors of yellow, sea-foam green, orange, and warm golden brown wood furniture.
There was paddle boarding, kyaking, swimming, long walks on the grounds among the trees and flowers, watching beautiful sunsets, and stargazing at night while listening to the island music from Negril city outside of the villa's security gates. What more can you wish for; and all at a price that can not be beat by anyone in the resort industry.
Because Llantrissant Beach Villa was so centrally located my family and I had the services of a private driver, arranged by our hosts. We were taken to the various attractions in and around the Negril area. Like Y/S Falls, The Caves, Xtabi, Rick's Cafe, and Alfreds on the Beach.
I could go on and on raving about Llantrissant Beach Villa and our gracious hosts. All I can say is go for yourself and experience THE BEST IN NEGRIL book a vacation and... Enjoy Paradise!!!!
Hesitant to write review because I want this place to be available the next time we go! I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. We went with four other couples and it was all of our first time in Jamaica. The staff was beyond amazing. Great, affordable home-cooked meals. Knowledgable groundskeeper Donnie set us up which everything and anything we wanted to do and made sure we got a fair price. Night guards were great and made us feel safe and let us visit the dogs a few times. Expect a true island vacation and pack more beach gear as we spent most days and nights at the house because why wouldn't you?
My whole family went, including young children and teenagers. We had a fabulous time. The property exceeded our expectations. There were so many things to do. The grounds and views were great. The staff become part of your family and make you feel at home. The food is delicious and the beds are comfortable. We plan to return.
This was our second time staying at Llantrissant and we plan to return. The service was once again fantastic! We highly recommend having as many of your meals as possible prepared by the cooks. Not only is it more economical, but everything we ate was delicious. I don't think we had anything better when eating out. Our favorite area was the veranda. We spent most of our evenings there playing games. We are a game loving group that can get quite rowdy so it was really nice not to worry about bothering others. While the location is right in the heart of Negril, you still feel secluded. Many of us enjoyed the sea kayaking and snorkeling. The reef, which is just a few feet away from the shore, is teeming with life. We enjoyed jet skis and massages that came to us instead of us going to them. My brother and his new wife were celebrating their recent marriage. The staff was amazingly helpful with preparing a lovely dinner and accomodating the extra guests that came. I really can't say enough about Marsha, Paulette, Ann and Donny. They were the icing on the cake. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Llantrisant.
