Holidaymakers looking for a fun packed vacation by the seaside in Northern Europe should pay a visit to Ostend in Belgium. This resort is located on the west coast of the country and has many things for holidaymakers to do and see. Brussels International Airport (BRU) is approximately one hour and 10 minutes drive from Ostend. Brussels Airlines operate flights to Brussels from numerous cities including Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Geneva, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm and Vienna amongst others. Car rental firms Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt have desks in the arrivals hall and there are taxis available outside the terminal building. Another option for visitors from the UK is to catch a ferry from Ramsgate to Ostend.
