Holidaymakers looking for an excellent mix of French culture, history and cuisine may like to visit the ancient village of Oppede. Located in the southeast of France on the northern flank of the Luberon Mountains, this French commune has so much for holidaymakers to see and do. Aix-en-Provence is about an hour away by car and has many museums, markets and holidaymakers can get spa treatments at the natural hot springs.
The weather between May and September is generally very warm with the average in July and August around 26 degrees centigrade, although temperatures can reach as high as 35 degrees. July is also very dry but the rest of the summer can see a few showers. Winters are cool and wet with December, January and February the coldest months with an average low of 5 degrees centigrade.
