Gatlinburg itself has some excellent attractions including the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and the Gatlinburg Space Needle.

Other international airports nearby include Hartsfield-Jackson International (ATL) Airport at Atlanta, 205 miles away, and Nashville (BNA) Airport a little further away. A car is required to reach this lovely area and for exploring the surrounding countryside but there is a free shuttle bus for getting around the city centre.
