This tiny parish of St Wenn is located in mid Cornwall between St Columb Major and Bodmin. It is in a farming area on the moorland of St Breock Downs, 739 feet above sea level. The parish boundary is marked by an ancient monolith known as the Great Stone.
The village has its own historic Parish church with a tower which consists of two stages. Lightning destroyed the third stage in 1663. The belfry has a peal of five bells.
