It is also conveniently located just a few miles away from the coastal resort town of Looe, another popular choice with holidaymakers. Pelynt is an excellent choice as a quiet rural base from which to explore the glories of this part of England.

Pelynt is located a few miles off the A390 and is midway between Plymouth and St. Austell. The best way to reach the parish is by car (it's about a four and a half hours from London). Though it is much easier to reach by car, visitors can also travel to Pelynt by rail via the rail station in Looe, which is just four miles away.
